Barry McCarthy was named President and CEO of Deluxe in November 2018. Barry is also a member of our Board of Directors. Prior to joining Deluxe, Barry spent 14 years at First Data Corporation, where he served in a variety of senior executive positions, most recently Executive Vice President and Head of Network and Security Solutions, a $1.5 billion publicly reported segment of the company. Barry is an accomplished executive and financial technology leader with an extensive track record of developing and building tech-driven solutions for financial institutions and small businesses. His strong background in product development, sales, marketing and technology innovation have supported the significant growth of companies from a Silicon Valley start-up, to major divisions of global Fortune 250 organizations. Barry earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and attended the University of Illinois.

Ron Clarke has been our Chief Executive Officer since August 2000 and was appointed Chairman of our Board of Directors in March 2003. From 1999 to 2000, Ron served as President and Chief Operating Officer of AHL Services, Inc., a staffing firm. From 1990 to 1998, Ron served as Chief Marketing Officer and later as a Division President with Automatic Data Processing, Inc., a computer services company. From 1987 to 1990, Ron was a Principal with Booz Allen Hamilton, a global management consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Ron was a marketing manager for General Electric Company, a diversified technology, media, and financial services corporation.

Mr. Gary Lee Coleman has been the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Torchmark Corporation since June 1, 2012 and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since September 1999 until May 2012. Mr. Coleman is also a member of the Board of Directors, Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation. Mr. Coleman served as the Principal Accounting Officer of Torchmark Corporation until February 20, 2007. He served as a Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Torchmark Corporation July 1994 to September 1999. He has been the Co-Chairman of the Board at Torchmark Corporation since April 2014. He has been a Director of Torchmark Corp. since August 2012. He holds a B.B.A from the University of Texas. Mr. Coleman's 43 years of experience, which includes seven years at KPMG where he primarily served insurance clients and 33 years in various accounting, financial and investment positions at the Company and its subsidiaries, including service as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company for 13 years, provides the Board with financial and operating perspectives from both management and independent accounting.

Karla Friede is Chief Executive Officer, co-founder, and member of the Board of Directors at NVoicePay. Friede has 20 years of experience in management, finance, and marketing roles in both large and early stage companies. Along with the founding team, she has grown NVoicePay into a leading B2B Payment Network. Prior to founding NVoicePay, Friede was President and CEO of privately held Zevez Corporation; VP of Marketing for GeoTrust (acquired by Verisign in 2006); Co-founder of The Ascent Group, a strategy consulting firm serving technology firms in the bay area; Director of Marketing at Mentor Graphics, and part of the PBAS team at KPMG. Friede received an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business and a BS in Accounting from University of Idaho.
