The company's solutions include an Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX) Secure Payment Processing solution; EPX WebSuite, a Web-based reporting, data analysis, exception transactions, and chargebacks solution; EPX Virtual Terminal, which offers the functionality of a POS terminal, and modes for processing POS, mail order and telephone order (MO/TO), and ecommerce transactions; and EPX vPost that emulates the functionality of a POS terminal through a Web browser. Its solutions also include EPX PayPage, which enables ecommerce merchants to outsource online payment acceptance and PCI compliance requirements by replacing their Web sites' payment pages with customized pages from EPX; and BuyerWall, a cardholder data protection system. The company's hosted solutions enable organizations to facilitate PCI compliance by outsourcing their payment processing needs. It serves Internet merchants, MO/TO merchants, retail merchants, healthcare providers, insurance providers, banks, and businesses with self-service payment kiosks and self-service delivery kiosks. The company was formerly known as InterCept Payment Solutions, Inc. and changed its name to Electronic Payment Exchange, Inc. in March 2004. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Wilmington, Delaware. Electronic Payment Exchange, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Solidus Networks, Inc.
