The selected individual will be responsible for collecting, assessing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to: illustrate the risks as they are; describe risk drivers; build and test hypotheses about how risks may evolve; and, ultimately, unveil the best means of recognizing risk and its evolution in a given threat context. The position requires fusing a sophisticated awareness of geopolitical drivers, supply chains, and trade regulations with specialized expertise applying intelligence techniques, tools, and methods to identify interventions. Ultimately, success is measured by the ability to blend threat research into the development of tools that offer tailored, accurate, and actionable interventions directly enhancing the safety and security of cargo bound for/or transiting the United States.
