This first level manager position will build and lead the Electrical Power and Electrical subsystems engineering team that supports Global Services and Commercial Airplanes out of production airplanes. This leader must be able to build and maintain relationships across the value stream, including peers in engineering, operations, supply chain and manufacturing.
The manager of this team will start with a strong core of experienced power and subsystems engineers. In addition to managing current work statement, this position will grow the capacity of this team by building a pipeline and knowledge management, and network with programs across the enterprise for work statement that builds the team's capability.
This role will also manage day to day tasks for Electrical Engineering Unit Members (E-UM). The E-UM team however will be aligned under a separate organization.
