This candidate will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of battery/battery Energy Storage System (BESS) testing and design for lithium-ion packs and contribute to developing the next-generation battery technology and products. Duties/Responsibilities: Setup of pack testing including programming of batteries, battery cycler, thermal chamber protocols, and data collection protocols Preparation of packs to be tested including hands-on connections, modifications, and instrumentation as well as preparation of special tests (prototypes, automation packs, etc.) Monitoring of the testing area and progress of tests Assembly of test fixtures, cabling, and adapters based on wiring diagrams. Relocate batteries from the production area to the test area, to the storage area. (Must be able to push a cart carrying 1000+ lbs.)
