The Semiconductor Field Service Technician III (Technician, Engineering III) performs technical support of high vacuum PVD equipment and related robotics. The ideal candidate will provide Installation, preventative maintenance and corrective action support of security field and headend equipment for new and existing Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Closed-Circuit Video (CCV) systems in addition to the integration of these systems to monitor the physical plant, people, and contents efficiently and effectively.
Candidate must have technical experience and familiarity with specific ESS platforms to support the following systems to include but not limited to: Hirsch/Identiv, C*CURE 9000, Lenel, Bosch Video Management System.
This position is based in the Oakland CA Metro area with additional work performed nationwide with up to 35% travel. Overnights may extend to 3 weeks at a time, and accommodation is provided by the company.
Responsibilities
Perform work on Access Controls, including card readers, electronic or wireless locks, and card, biometric, and fingerprint devices, among others
Perform work on Intrusion Systems and Prevention Systems, to include perimeter controls

Terminates and dismantles devices and reconstructs equipment as required
Erects safety signage in appropriate areas

+ Troubleshoot and repair RF, communications, and power PCBs
+ Perform cable terminations
+ Perform system tests using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and signal generators

+ Document test data thoroughly and accurately
+ Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches and running sheets of significant complexity
+ Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules
+ Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certifications required to maintain the certification

**Qualifications**
+ Requires an associate's degree in electronics, engineering or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area
+ Five years experience in a test environment
+ Active secret clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
+ Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills
+ Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices
+ Surface mounted and through hole solder experience
+ Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals
+ Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Excel, Python (familiar) and others
+ Familiar with AC, DC, RF test and measurement equipment operation preferred
+ Experience with test stand operation, anechoic chamber, environmental chamber and use of spectrum analyzer and signal generator preferred
+ Experience troubleshooting and tuning radars, antennas, or other RF devices in near field and/or far field ranges preferred
+ Knowledge of the principles of theory and general electronic component functions preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Position Summary:
Fusion is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to provide technical oversight of construction contracts, quality control, and infrastructure compliance. The Engineering Technician will support public works operations, infrastructure assessments, cost estimation, and project management to ensure adherence to safety regulations, contractual requirements, and engineering standards. This role requires field inspections, contractor evaluations, and collaboration with government personnel to support mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will haveexperience working in federal government environments, and the ability to operate within a Top Secret security framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Oversight & Quality Assurance
Review and enforce construction contract provisions, including quality control and safety requirements.
Conduct site inspections to evaluate conditions, recommend improvements, and oversee contractor execution.
Ensure projects comply with federal, DoD, and engineering standards for safety and performance.
Provide technical evaluations of contractor proposals, invoices, and modifications.
Manage the three-phase control quality management process to verify compliance at all project stages.
Project Management & Cost Estimation
Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and contract modifications.
Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
Provide technical guidance on infrastructure repairs, upgrades, and modernization efforts.
Support risk assessments and contingency planning for facility infrastructure projects.
Collaboration & Compliance
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and government officials to ensure project alignment with mission objectives.
Ensure construction activities adhere to environmental, safety, and federal regulations.
Develop and maintain technical reports, engineering documentation, and compliance records.
Participate in meetings, site briefings, and contract performance reviews to provide technical insight.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in engineering, construction quality control, or infrastructure management.
Experience with DoD construction projects, military facilities, or government contracting preferred.
Certifications & Technical Skills:
Active Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification.
Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction principles.
Familiarity with federal construction regulations, NEC, OSHA, and safety compliance standards.

Security Clearance Requirement:
