Responsibilities The Field Service Technician:
Travels to Levy locations via field service truck or air
Performs inspections of mobile equipment
Operates and inspects equipment to assess equipment malfunctions
Uses computerized diagnostic system to assist with the identification of malfunctions (CAT ET, Cummings)
Makes recommendations for process to repair equipment and parts to be ordered
Participates in the training and development of less skilled mechanics
Operates and maintains field service truck
Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment to gain access to areas of concern
Examines part for excessive wear and determines reusability
Repairs, replaces, cleans and lubricates parts and components as necessary
Diagnoses and repairs hydraulic systems, electrical systems and mechanical systems
Welds, cuts and fabricates equipment and components
Completes maintenance check list and tests repaired equipment to ensure accurate completion of repair
Makes recommendations for equipment to be repaired by outside sources when necessary
Maintains records and reporting
Meets customer service requirements
Complies with all safety regulations and policies
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Site Safety Technician (HSET)
Responsibilities:
Report to the Project Safety Coordinator, and/or Branch Office Safety Coordinator.
At the direction of the Project Safety Coordinator, conduct New Hire Orientation and/or Site-Specific Orientation (i.e., MMR Orientation, Site Safety Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fall Protection, HAZCOM, and PPE).
Accompany injured/ill employees to Medical Facilities to ensure proper treatment and Case Management if directed to do so and under guidance from the Project Safety Coordinator.

Correct all unsafe acts or conditions.
Participate in daily JSEA and Daily Toolbox meetings.

Stay up to date and current on MMR HS&E Policies & Procedures and applicable regulatory (i.e. OSHA, MSHA, DOT, NFPA) requirements.

Inspect tools and safety equipment including arc flash and shock protection before use.
Perform monthly inspections of Site Office, Tool and Calibration Trailers, including tools, appliances, equipment and safety gear.

2. Read and interpret a variety of mechanical and electrical prints including single line and three line wire
diagrams, control schematics, and cable schedules.
3. Use a strong foundation in electrical theory to problem-solve and troubleshoot electrical issues or failures.

materials, and any other pertinent special customer requirements.
Tools and Equipment

Primary Role
Maintain and repair high and low service pumps and related equipment, booster pumps and related equipment, and operate booster stations; test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect monitoring devices; perform general maintenance on the equipment and design new measuring and recording equipment. Braskem is looking for a self-motivated and curious process control technician to help our Neal, WV, facility reach its full potential. A successful candidate will work very closely with our site automation engineer, operations, and instrumentation personnel. At Neal, we will need your help maintaining Honeywell Experion (TPS), Safety Manager, Modicon & Rockwell automation systems. You should not be intimidated by challenges, enjoy complex problem-solving, and come prepared to contribute.
Below is a list of activities where you can do your part:
Perform first-line troubleshooting of the automation systems, including: DCS, SIS, PLCs, Data Historian, Advanced Solutions, and DMZ/PCN layer network
You will serve a critical role as the primary interface with the I&E technicians, offering them occasional support while troubleshooting particularly challenging issues or providing specific guidance for capital work.
Collaborate daily with operations personnel, helping them troubleshoot process issues, logic, graphics, drawings, etc.
Work closely with the site automation engineer, sharing responsibility for the overall reliability of all automation systems. This includes sharing coverage for off-hour support in response to all automation system disruptions on a rotating basis, as well as extended hours during planned and unplanned plant outages.
Maintain and update process control strategy documents, including loop diagrams, logic drawings, and cause-and-effect matrices.
Monitor performance of PID loops and tune as necessary. Diagnose poor performance and recommend next steps as needed.
Monitor and evaluate the health and performance of automation assets, and take necessary actions.
Be an active participant in MOC and PSSR initiatives, identifying how proposed changes may impact our control systems and helping to determine optimal implementation solutions.
Support our Alarm Management process by generating alarm reports, participating in alarm rationalization meetings, and implementing changes to the DCS configuration.
Perform routine tasks such as backups and PMs to verify the viability and reliability of all automation equipment and repair/replace components as needed.
Identify and correct problems that may arise during the commissioning of new control system equipment.
Serve as a liaison between the electrical and mechanical groups, providing insight into how their work may impact automation systems.
Support the automation engineer in developing alarms/interlock testing procedures and conduct functional testing of alarms/interlocks following site-specific procedures.

* Handles emergency calls as directed during the day and after hours.

* Maintains the required tools and equipment needed for maintenance activity to aid in timely diagnoses of system or component problems.
* Receives, completes, and creates work orders.
* Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the university.
* Maintains knowledge of state, federal, and local codes and requirements relating to maintenance and construction.

Position Summary:
The Field Service/Installation Technician is a vital part of our company providing hands-on support to our customers. Service Technicians are independent team players who want to be customer focused. As the Service Technician, you will offer solutions to our clients that extend beyond repairs and maintenance to exemplify our number one goal: driving dentistry forward. Position requires routine pushing, pulling, grasping and manual dexterity in the use of hands, arms and shoulders
Able to work in tight spaces
Frequent travel to customer sites (daily) and occasional use of power tools
