What You'll Get To Do:
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Support Launch Systems programs administering and performing Data Transfer Agent (DTA) duties for information systems processing National Security Information.
Perform scheduled, on-demand, and mission critical data transfers across various security boundaries for multiple programs and classified networks.
Be the subject matter expert on data transfer policies and procedures, to include data transfer software and media.
Provide weekly status of all file transfer actions to and from classified information systems.
Process and coordinate physical shipment and receipt of unclassified and classified parcels and media.
Submit and track IT incidents and new requests in accordance with established processes.
Coordinate handling, destruction, receipt and transferring of security related documentation.
Administrate the DTA training program for collateral data transfer agents.
Ensure all DTA related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Troubleshoot transfer device issues.
Participate in technical and security related training relative to assigned duties.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Support compliance to all applicable regulatory and standard requirements (CLIA, NYS, CAP, ISO, etc.).
+ Accepts and performs other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in science field.
+ 1 year of experience in repairing and/or troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
+ Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control procedures and regulations.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working.

+ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dead-driven environment.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proven attention to detail with effective organizational skills.
+ Effective interpersonal and team skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet for business use.
+ High degree of care and attention with strict adherence to defined clinical testing protocols.
+ Demonstrate clear ability to explain previous experience.
**Physical Demands**
+ Must possess ability to sit, stand, and/or work at a computer for long periods of time.
+ May have exposure to blood-borne pathogens, extreme temperatures, high noise levels, fumes and bio-hazardous material/chemicals including formalin in the lab environment.
+ Visual acuity and analytical skill to distinguish fine detail. Ability to pass a visual color discrimination test.
**Training**
+ All job specific, safety, and compliance training are assigned based on the job functions associated with this employee.
**Other**
+ Work Schedule: 9:30pm-8:00am, Wednesday to Saturday.
+ This position may require periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
