JOB SUMMARY
Under Minimum supervision, the Equipment Tech responds to calls for respiratory therapy equipment and compressed gas cylinders needs throughout the hospital. Responsible for the delivery of compressed gas cylinders, maintenance of respiratory care equipment and support of the respiratory care services staff. Performs all duties that are required of a respiratory care support services technician. Oversees and indirectly manages student tech activities within the department. Also, ensures that all tech services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of administrative, secretarial and complex clerical duties for the team. Follows complex oral and written instructions, uses independent judgment and word processing software, follows established office procedures and is familiar with departmental and hospital policies. Performs various clerical and administrative duties depending on administrators needs which may include collecting and preparing data for management assignments, reports and presentations and assisting with monitoring department QI/PI initiatives. Appropriately direct calls takes accurate messages or responds to calls by utilizing knowledge of policies procedures and practices. Works to support audiovisual needs of the dept and produces educational videos and power points for staff meetings, educational events and QI/PI tracking initiatives.

Position overview:
The Electrical Technician will provide support to plant operations through troubleshooting, performing maintenance, repairing and installing of equipment, electrical systems and components. This position works on a rotational four on four off 12-hour schedule. This opening will be scheduled 5pm-5am. The starting rate of pay is $38.5006 with an additional $2 an hour shift differential.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Technician's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:
Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems and devices within the plant
Knowledge and solid understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)
Edit PLC programming
Diagnose component issues
Assist in new installations and upgrades of plant equipment

Electronics technician job in Baltimore, MD
Filamatic is seeking an Electrical Technician as part of our production team who will be primarily responsible wiring the industrial machinery as it is being built by the production team. You will work alongside our assemblers and technicians to build our OEM industrial machinery in preparation for our customers to come onsite for the field acceptance testing. Working under both general and detailed instructions you will wire the panels and machines, as well as assist in any testing and troubleshooting required.
Our machines are capable of dispensing from microliters to gallons at speeds of up to 250 containers per minute. You will utilize technical drawing packages, electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control software fabrication of new automated filling and capping machinery.
Responsibilities
Configure and layout wire runs between panel and machine. Review drawings: make corrections, additions and wire number list.
Configure machine, main enclosures and junction boxes. May involve drilling and tapping, mounting, punching holes, bending conduit and use of plasma cutter.
Wire panels and machine: mount components to panels and wire according to drawings and verbal communication; label and install cables to components and pull back to panel for interconnection to ensure neatly labeled panels and cables.
Perform I/O check out on machine, turning power on each machine and check each device wired to the PLC. Set electrical component dip switches and variables.
Troubleshooting electrical issues: applying electrical knowledge, using electronic measuring equipment and schematics.
Manage electrical inventory.
Job related paperwork: time scanning, updated BOM, service visits, etc.

Qualifications
Associates degree with specialization in industrial electrics or a four (4) years' electrical apprenticeship or equivalent experience
At least five 3 years' experience in an automated industrial electrical environment.
Full knowledge of NEC, working knowledge of NFPA 70, AC, DC and Servo motor controls.
Ability to read, interpret and follow electrical schematics, troubleshoot and work with live circuitry.
Ability to use measuring tool, hand, power and air tools.
Manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination, ability to bend, stoop, stand or kneel for long period of time.

Role Description:
Instrumentation Technician II performs a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance of electronic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical instrumentation. Fabricates, installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains instruments. Assists with modifications and upgrades of instruments and computer control systems. Diagnoses and corrects telemetry problems of computer control systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Assists in the maintenance of SCADA systems.

Prepare accurate typed daily field reports, including appropriate photographs, sketches, etc.
Perform hand augers to obtain subsurface information and soil samples
Observe and document various field activities related to the construction process, including foundation installation techniques including ground improvement, and deep foundations
Read maps and interpret engineering and construction plans
Interact and communicate daily with project team members, including contractors, technicians, and DWK project managers
Qualifications:
Willingness to work “in the dirt!”
Have a valid United States driver's license and reliable, insured, suitable transportation. Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on construction job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
Excellent writing and communication skills
Physically capable of meeting the physical demands of walking/climbing on construction sites, moving, handling testing equipment (incl. lifting up to 50 lbs)
Preferred: coursework in civil engineering, environmental, agriculture, forestry, geology, or related field, ACI Level 1 Certification, APNGA Training
