From the engineers who design large-scale production systems and cutting-edge quality assurance tools to the hands-on associates who manage our massive inventory flow, they make up a diverse group of behind-the-scenes team members dedicated to the success of our organization. **Job Duties and Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities:** + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic issues to ensure test and manufacturing equipment is operating according to requirements and specifications; some of the equipment includes manual test stations, case erectors, stretch wrappers, industrial robots, scanners, automated test stations, among others + Perform test station assembly and deployment; debug and troubleshoot equipment after assembly to ensure proper operation + Interact with a proactive attitude and customer mindset when working with production associates, supervisors, engineers, and coworkers from other areas or departments + Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements or troubleshooting instructions or ensure compliance + Assist other groups (IT, Maintenance, Facilities, Production) as required or instructed by supervisor + Collect data to prepare time studies, reports, work instructions, visual aids, flowcharts and be able to submit recommendations for change + Assist with special engineering projects such as new product introduction, layout and/or process changes + Equipment repair and setup; basic data analysis + Other duties as required; this list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all duties and responsibilities assigned to this position **Skills, Experience and Requirements** **Education & Experience:** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience + Associates Degree in electronics, machinist, mechatronics, mechanical or Technical school or service training beyond high school preferred **Skills and Qualifications:** + Physical ability to lift and move production equipment such as benches, racks, carts, cabling and computers + Familiarity with 5S, TPM and other Lean Manufacturing techniques + Ability to perform daily duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Sequence of Events (SOE) and other related documentation + Working knowledge and experience with the use of power tools, installing warehouse racking, drill press, pedestal grinder, and table saw + Working knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferable + Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and instructional emails + Must know how to use a computer (Windows environment); knowledge of Microsoft Suite/Google suite + Good communication skills, detail-oriented with good organizational skills + Be able to work on specific items with little to no supervision as well as being part of a crew or team + Experience working with a Maintenance management system such as SAP-Maintenance or Mpulse + Ability to prioritize between multiple tasks and/or projects + Advanced skill set using maintenance tooling and equipment + Advanced skill set at troubleshooting equipment + Skilled in PLC, networking, computers, and pneumatics **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** Monday thru Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Visa sponsorship not available for this role **Salary Ranges** Compensation: $24.22/Hour - $27.85/Hour **Benefits** We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits .
