EmployBridge is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support a manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL. This is a multi-craft technical role responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical production systems. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and experienced with PLCs, controls, mechanical systems, and high-volume industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
(Multi-Craft - Electrical/Mechanical/Controls)
Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of PLCs and control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, including ladder logic and control wiring issues.
Read and interpret electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and automated machinery.
Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and best practices.
Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, measuring wear, and evaluating vibration/noise indicators.
Respond to emergency or unplanned breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Accurately use diagnostic, measurement, and electrical test equipment.
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs as needed.
Install wiring and conduit for new and existing equipment (conveyors, controllers, packaging/corrugating machinery, etc.).
Replace faulty components including relays, sensors, switches, motors, scanners, proximity/photo-eye devices, etc.
Diagnose and repair electronic components such as printed circuit boards.
Troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motor systems.
Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
Complete required maintenance paperwork and records accurately.
Work collaboratively with team members and leadership.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
2-year degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting abilities across electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Must be able to pass an advanced industrial skills and electrician/instrumentation knowledge assessment.
Willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
Clean safety record.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office; SAP or similar CMMS preferred).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong quality standards with minimal need for rework.
Leadership experience a plus (safety committees, 5S involvement, project lead roles).
Ability to perform administrative and purchasing duties for maintenance parts/requirements.
Ability to lead maintenance teams during major projects or outages.
Corrugated or heavy manufacturing industry experience preferred.

The Technician will perform a variety of technical, chemical, and photolithography duties with the development, processing, and control of semiconductor material and devices.
What You'll Get To Do:
Run fabrication equipment for processing semiconductor materials and devices under the guidance of process documentation, which includes the setup and operation of a variety of standard and special solid-state processing equipment. This includes performing various chemical, physical, photographic, and packaging processes such as deposition, evaporation, and etching of materials, metals plating, wafer dicing /thinning, and making/requesting adjustments based upon the knowledge of process and procedures, and monitoring equipment when applicable.
Examine processes such as resist/develop processing, photo exposure, metallization, and etching to determine the quality of the process to locate defects. Determine and discuss with the engineer possible improvements in the process or equipment to remedy defects.
Interpret SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts to react to out-of-control conditions to maintain process control. Prepare reports or parts of reports following established patterns. Covering work assignments such as preparing masks, operating photographic equipment, and developing photographic film.
Placing lots on hold, based on engineering guidance, disposition lots, and document in MES. Performing tasks such as running split lots for engineering, ensuring special processing is consistent and on time. Performing gage R&R (repeatability & Reproducibility) studies for metrology equipment.
Basic Qualifications Microelectronic Technician 2:
High school graduate or recognized equivalent.
Associate's Degree or two years (minimum 60 semester hours) of college-level study with a major in a physical science or equivalent; or 2 years of relevant experience.
Ability to lift, hold, move, and manipulate the wafers in a FOUP (Front Opening Unified Pod) to 25 pounds and with a wand as applicable.
2 years of prior manufacturing experience or 1 year of semiconductor (cleanroom) manufacturing experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications Microelectronic Technician 2:
Experience running semiconductor process equipment and metrology equipment.
Experience in data collection and interpretation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12V electrical systems on commercial vehicles.
Wire and mount lighting systems, control panels, and warning devices.
Build wiring harnesses for lighting systems and control boxes.
Make custom brackets to mount lights/strobes, controllers, and distribution boxes.
Install truck mounted attenuators and other vehicle-mounted safety systems.

Performs skilled journey-level work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic and microprocessor-based traffic control equipment. Work may involve lead responsibility for applying electronic theory and practices to the installation, maintenance, and precision repair of electronic and microprocessor-based traffic signal equipment and related traffic control devices. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of a Traffic Signal Chief. Work is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through conferences and direct observation. The regular schedule for this position is four (4) days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This position stands on duty at night and on weekends on a rotating basis and may be required to work the night shift on a rotating basis if conditions dictate. Some off-shifts and holidays are required based on conditions, projects, and event schedules.
Minimum Qualifications:

Details: Introduction: Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for several RF Technician positions located in Orlando, FL that are fully onsite. These positions are direct hire opportunities. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance, if required.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00 am -3:30pm) RF Technician Position Summary: The RF technician is responsible for tuning, testing, and verifying RF filters and oscillators and to ensure that they meet the customer's expectations. The technician will tune various RF filters, including, but not limited to lumped element (LC) filters, crystal, and cavity-based filters and/or RF oscillators including TCXOs, VCXOs and OCXOs. The RF technician will also perform various environmental tests as required to ensure compliance with the customers' specifications. RF Technician Responsibilities: RF Technician I:
Able to read and follow procedures exactly as written.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (2D0-1004) including STEP-C
Full understanding of client's ESD procedures
Uses computer and/or manually records data as needed.
Performs environmental testing as required which might include the following: vibration, mechanical shock, thermal shock, etc.
Takes direction from supervisor and other senior team members.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to GMP (good manufacturing practices)
Use of hand tools such as torque tools, calipers.
Follow safe guidelines for chemical use and storage.
Understands and uses leak detection equipment (gross / fine)
Maintains safe and clean working areas.
RF Technician II:
All functions of RF Technician I
Use of various test equipment: Network /spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, mixers, power meters, etc.
Tune various RF filters, including, but not limited to lumped element (LC) filters, crystal, and cavity-based filters.
Does basic oscillator set up for frequency and output power SOT components.
Able to be self-sufficient in main work area.
Updates tracking boards and various floor queues as needed.
Assists in preparing and lining up work for Filter Technician I personnel.
RF Technician III:
All functions of RF Technician II
Well cross trained within their department but can also work in other departments within the filter production area.
Ability to handle and tune all space level filters and highly difficult (high frequency) to tune models.
For oscillator products, does set up on difficult, high frequency devices that might require multiple SOT components.
Perform common troubleshooting for oscillator / filter products (i.e. determining incorrect component values, number of turns on coils, etc.)
Performs full set ups for various tests including, but not limited to, IM, Phase noise, operation under vibration, etc.
RF Technician IV:
All functions of RF Technician III
Works with process / design engineering to suggest changes in the process or product to improve throughput, yield, etc.
Perform advanced troubleshooting
For oscillator products, able to troubleshoot circuits to component level using schematics and various measurement equipment.
For filter products, this includes, but not limited to determining grounding issues, resolving test fixture and test methods, calibration issues, complex problems with assembly and component values.
Periodically checks with peers or line leads to support other functions as needed.
Mentor Junior Technicians.

Two years of technician experience required and mastery of difficult models.

We are looking for an Automation Technician whose role will be to support the automation systems for the show. The Automation Technician's main objective is to ensure show readiness and safety by performing maintenance on, and operation of electrical and mechanical equipment above the stage by developing a thorough knowledge of all automation and control systems. Additional tasks include, but are not limited to, maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies and providing all other supporting services. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures.
The Automation Technician will:
- Operate the automation control console and cue tracks in a safe and consistent manner for performances, artist training and maintenance operations;- Maintain cue track documentation and participate in cue track rotation as directed;- Inspect and maintain electronic, hydraulic and motorized equipment and systems as directed;- Control machines and processes, by using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes;- Operate mechanized devices, or equipment, by running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and passenger vehicles;- Update maintenance and inspection records within Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as other show specific software such as AutoCAD and maintenance databases;- Maintain a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures;- Adhere to and promote all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training.- Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsals, training, maintenance and evening show performances;- Develop a thorough knowledge of Automation equipment specific to the production in order to operate it safely;- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time;- Participate in special projects including the installation of new automated show elements, and interdepartmental projects that include automated elements or other needs that may fall within the technician's specialty as directed;- Complete all other job-related duties as requested.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;- At least 1 year of experience operating and maintaining motion control systems and/or theater experience with high large-scale productions;- Strong metal fabrication skills such as cutting, grinding, fitting, aligning and welding;- Strong mechanical drafting skills, knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an asset;- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics;- Working knowledge and experience with industrial machines, motors, gearboxes and related tools, including design, uses, repair, and maintenance;- Working knowledge of AC\DC theory and electrical safety;- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor;- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays;- Ability to work in active environment requiring standing, sitting, bending, crawling, climbing, crouching, and kneeling, often for extended periods;- Ability to lift 50 pounds;- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and spoken forms;- 10-hour OSHA course completion card required;- Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one's identity and work authorization.
