Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support customers in process control instrumentation and equipment startup with focus on flow measurement equipment
Verify, troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and equipment communications
Inspect instrument wiring, power and grounding of installation
Set up instruments with Hart 475 field communicator
Work with onsite installation crew
Replace/install instrumentation and equipment
Troubleshoot failed instruments and equipment
Develop solutions to resolve instrumentation and equipment problems
Calibration of measurement and flow transmitters
Providing clear and effective documentation of services provided to customers
Requirements:
Technical Degree or equivalent field experience. 5+ years experience with Rosemount products is preferred
Familiarity with Rosemont and Micro Motion
Familiarity with Foxboro, Endress&Hauser, Yokogawa, and other instrumentation
Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, shovels, picks, wrenches, tube benders and tube cutters.
Understand instrumentation and be able to read blueprints.
Understand and be able to perform electrical work. 480V experience is preferred
Ability to work with electrical conduit and fittings is a plus.
Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, Modbus, RS232/485, and Hart communications
Experience managing customer projects and working independently
Current driver's license
Proficient with MS Office suite
Ability to work any overtime that is required to complete a particular assignment (occasional weekend work)
Ability to travel out of town and work in the field when required.

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to provide testing and inspection services, record technical information, and support internal customers by reviewing drawings and specifications. This role also involves supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including creating customer sample submissions and maintaining an inventory of required products and tools.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct testing and inspection of products.
+ Record technical information, including dimensional, mechanical, and performance testing.
+ Provide technical support to internal customers by reviewing and interpreting drawings and specifications.
+ Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by creating customer sample submissions.
+ Maintain an inventory of commonly required products and tools such as test bolts, washers, mandrels, gages, and sockets.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting
+ Understanding of GD&T and ISO standards
+ Two-year degree in a related field or a minimum of five years of experience in a related field
+ Three plus years of experience in understanding drawings, applicable test specifications, GD&T, and dimensional layouts

Work Environment
The work environment is primarily lab-based, attached to a distribution and office setting. This role provides a great opportunity for gaining mechanical lab experience in various industries such as aerospace, automotive, heavy equipment, electronics, and defense. The primary testing includes hardness testing, metallography, microhardness, plating thickness, torque-tension, tensile testing, and corrosion testing. Dress code is casual lab attire.

Pay and Benefits
