The Electronics Technician, Maintenance maintains repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices. Position Summary The Clinical Engineering Technician is responsible for the organization of installation and maintenance of the equipment within the clinical molecular lab. Job Responsibilities Drafts preventative maintenance procedures and makes corrections/changes to existing procedures. Attends training sessions on instrumentation to learn function, basic programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Identifies, troubleshoots, and recommends repair and spare parts. Schedules and performs preventative maintenance inspections on instruments and completes all associated paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
