The Customer Service Engineer - is an intermediate position that performs tasks related to the repair of a variety of technology-based products typically associated in an end-user computing environment. Drive delivery, box, tanker, or tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver lubricating oil, liquefied petroleum, or mixed surfactants to customers. Performs any activity or assignment asked for by their supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive position. This position bridges basic repair work and advanced Complex Rehab Technology (CRT), serving as a key technical partner to Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs), rehab specialists, and clinical teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities This role goes beyond basic assembly. Job Description This position is primarily responsible for providing placement and pickup of product to customers, inventory tracking, and routine maintenance/replacement of product. This includes basic service of product, completing paperwork for billing, tracking of product for inventory, and completion of bed rounds for service and cleaning. Other duties may be assigned. * Check daily the parameters of the critical control points: temperature, weight, amperage and pressure, in order to correct deviations in time and form. * Execute and coordinate preventive maintenance of electrical, electronic and control equipment, to guarantee the availability and operation of the equipment. * Coordinate and supervise the implementation of electrical, electronic and control projects carried out by external personnel (contractors), in order to improve facilities and processes. Be the technical resource for Engineering for new projects involving setup, calibration, new technology, and sanitary design. * Coordinate and execute the corrective maintenance of electrical, electronic and control equipment, in order to reduce wasted time. * Coordinate and supervise the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance to substations, in order to reduce lost time. * Comply with all electrical panel organization and cleaning to a personnel and food safety required standard. To comply with requirements established by the Food Quality and Safety System * Own and understand our power distribution and drive timely execution of MCC and transformer PMs. * Manage all panel documentation, including breaker labeling and machine schematics at the equipment. * Install, maintain, and replace automation systems at key points in the production process * Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components * Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality * Periodically report to leadership regarding automation capabilities and status * This is a safety sensitive position. Education and/or Experience: * Requires more than 1 year experience on this job or related jobs in the plant or elsewhere. * Requires 3 years 'experience in Industrial Electricity as well as 3 years combined experience with instrumentation and programmable controllers, and 2 years of electrical/electronic training or apprenticeship.
