The Technician II- Engineering will interact with and support the hardware engineering team, internal customers, and external suppliers on behalf of the Test Systems Group and TSG engineering lab. Primary duties will be solder assembly of components to printed circuit boards, perform some administrative duties such as, generating and processing purchase orders, generating weekly lab productivity reports, assist the QA department and the other engineering groups in writing technical documents and maintaining operating specifications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/CONSIDERATIONS

Perform extended site rounds that could include long distances of walking and long periods of time being away from a desk. Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects.
The pay range for this role is between $35/hour - $45/hour. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons. JOB SUMMARY
The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical and electronic systems supporting production and facility operations. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety compliance, and optimal plant performance by diagnosing system failures, performing corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Fiber location.
JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoots and repairs electrical (24V-480V) and PLC control systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens)
Troubleshoots hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Reads PLC ladder logic and function block logic to troubleshoot and repair
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control documentation.
Inspect, test, and evaluate electrical systems, drives, motors, PLC components, and control panels.
Disassemble and reassemble machines and electrical systems to replace defective or worn components.
Install, modify, and commission new and existing electrical equipment using proper tools, materials, and methods.
Perform calibrations, alignments, and adjustments to ensure accurate and safe equipment operation.
Support pneumatic and hydraulic systems as needed for machine functionality.
Provide technical support and training to production staff on basic equipment operation and troubleshooting.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
Identify and recommend improvements to equipment, control systems, and plant infrastructure.
Maintain maintenance logs, technical notes, and work order documentation.
Support spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory management.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, and OSHA requirements.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions as needed.
Perform soldering and basic electronic repairs when required.
Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform multi-media sampling (collection of soil, water, and air samples) in support of investigations, monitoring programs, and other data collection projects.
Perform O&M of remediation systems (e.g. groundwater extraction and treatment, soil vapor extraction, and others).
Monitor contractor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g., technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.).
Provide CQA observation and monitoring on several types of construction and/or environmental activities on enviro-civil construction sites.
Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports.
Ensure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures.
Interact with project personnel (project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communication and participation.
Assist in the preparation of the final data packages, health and safety documents, and the assembly of report appendices.
Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans and the company's Environmental Health and Safety Management policies and procedures.
