The P&C System Control Technician provides support for Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) used for real-time transmission operations using standard SCADA protocols as well as intra-substation OT device communication using standard industrial control system (ICS) protocols. An Electronic Technician lay's out, builds, tests, installs, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies electrical and electronic components, parts, equipment and systems. Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and components, to include associated command and surveillance systems. 5 years of experience as an Electronic Technician. Able to read and interpret drawing, schematics and other electrical/electronic technical documentation. Familiar with applicable commercial and Government specifications and codes. Have comprehensive knowledge at component/system start up, testing, troubleshooting and repair. Able to check functioning of newly installed equipment in vessels and structures to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.

R&P Technologies is looking for Master technical skills and waterfront knowledge under supervision of a Lead Technician Level IV. Provide training to Technician Level II and I personnel. They are responsible for reporting all task completions and production obstacles to their Lead Technician and will be capable of standing in as Lead Technician when required. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with ship specification requirements while complying with all OSHA, NAVSEA, ABS, local shipyard, and R&P safety policies and procedures. Execute plans of electrical installations to include, but not limited to 115VAC/440VAC/Various VDC equipment, fiber optics, lighting, announcing, RF antennas, audio/video, interior communications and alarms, and network systems. They will operate efficiently in a team environment and demonstrate effective leadership qualities while dealing with junior personnel. Receive mentorship/guidance from Lead Technician or Task Lead for questions on any assigned tasks that are not fully understood. Responsibilities Execute plans of electrical installations for many different electrical and electronic systems such as lighting, announcing, 115V/440V electrical plant equipment, Uninterrupted Power Supply equipment, Audio/Video equipment, Antenna systems and many others Install electrical cabinets, fixtures, and equipment for various electrical systems Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks using various MIL-SPEC connectors Pull in cables of various lengths and sizes to accommodate system connections Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair/replace damaged equipment Potentially run shipboard availabilities with a small crew.
