Key Responsibilities:
As an Airport Communications Technician you will work in a fast-paced Newark, New Jersey location. The Airport Communications Technicians plays a very significant role in providing quality service to our internal customers and will be assigned to service two-way radio communication, dispatch console, x-ray screening, and explosive trace detection equipment. The Technician should have detailed knowledge of installing and maintaining land mobile radio, air to ground radio, passenger and cargo screening security equipment, including:
* Systems and component level service and configuration of radio transmitter, receiver, antenna, transmission line, trunked radio systems, and related RF tuned equipment.
* IP networked and analog consoles, control equipment, and related apparatus.

New employees are required to join the union within ninety (90) days of employment. There is an initiation fee for joining the union and subsequent monthly union dues.

The Equity Research Technology team at Balyasny is responsible for building and supporting a world-class suite of tools for our portfolio managers and their teams. We are looking for an experienced and eager developer to join our team in supporting this mandate.

- Experience with source code control (Git experience preferred).

We are looking to hire Instrumentation and Controls Technicians (2) who will be based out of our headquarters in Allendale, NJ and also directly support customer sites within the Tri-State New York area.

Prerequisites:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be PC literate including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Any experience with valves/HVAC systems or any control system software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Assist in providing field services for Emerson control systems, control valves, instrumentation, on-off valves, actuators, and regulators at customer sites or in Control Associates repair facility.
Perform Control Associates Valve Automation and Distribution Center work including the assembly, modification, calibration and testing of control valves, automated on-off valves and regulators as required.
Assist in providing Installed Base Services for Emerson and other manufacturers at customer sites, or in Control Associates facility.
Assist in performing periodic on-site Planned Maintenance and System and Device Performance Monitoring visits in accordance with Control Associates, Inc. Lifecycle Services contractual requirements and factory specifications.
Perform on-site troubleshooting and/or remote diagnostics of control valves, automated on-off valves, regulators and instrumentation using ValveLink or AMS diagnostic software tools to determine overall health of the equipment and repair/replace malfunctioning devices and software.
Perform onsite troubleshooting to determine root cause of communication, instrumentation, network, and/or control systems problems, and then repair, rebuild, or replace, malfunctioning components in accordance with factory specifications as required.
Prepare Field Service Reports and Calibration Documenting for services provided to our customers.
Be available when required for performing emergency services after normal working hours Monday Friday, as well as weekends and public holidays.

We work directly with multiple industries and each of those have different maintenance and operating schedules. Thus, we are continuously providing our customers with installations, commissioning, upgrades, startup, shutdowns, and maintenance services. Our business is continuous with no downtime, thus overtime is regularly available for our team.
