The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery while supporting engineering and process improvement activities. Ensures product quality, equipment reliability, and safe operation in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Engineer Technician - Production Job Functions: * Set up, adjust, and operate machines to meet production requirements. * Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on high-speed manufacturing equipment. * Support engineers with process improvements, tooling adjustments, and data collection. * Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards. * Maintain accurate production records and adhere to safety procedures. Engineer Technician - Production Minimum Requirements: * Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical education preferred. * 5 years' hands-on experience with mechanical and/or automated machinery. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with blueprint reading and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). * Strong sense of accountability with ability to take ownership of machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety and production standards. * Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed. Location-Specific Requirements: * Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance. * Must possess a Valid US driver's license. * This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. * This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. * This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
