Assist with overall maintenance of the store. Ensure that weekly price changes are done in assigned department(s). Ensure that monthly cycle counts and negative on hand reports are completed in assigned department(s). Assist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor including end caps and ad merchandise. Assist with merchandise resets throughout store, especially in assigned department(s). Ensure signage is current in assigned department(s). Operate forklift with proper training. Communicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up. Participate in store meetings. Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales ideas to General Manager. The Electronics Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, testing and repairing electronic equipment; developing prototypes and breadboard circuits; design and work up plans to retrofit existing equipment; researching and performing routine maintenance on electronic equipment utilizing test sets. Principal Duties/Responsibilities: Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools. Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment. Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards. Works with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures. May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks. Conforms and complies with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes Documents work performed in service reports, applicable management systems, and written explanation regarding observation and collected equipment performance data. Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams. Performs expert functions as a part of training and development. Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems. Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations. Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development. Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies: Essential KSAs: High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry. Possesses comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs. Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate. Extensive travel required. (Local, National). Applicants can live anywhere within the Continental U.S Desirable KSAs: Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment. Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems. Electronic Technicians work 12 hour shifts on rotation with every other weekend off. About the Role Above all, the Electronic Technician is to work safely by observing all safety rules, including proper utilization of lock out tag out. An electronic technician maintains and fixes machinery that processes margarine and spreads in the plant. This includes trouble shooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues with processing and packaging equipment utilizing World Class Manufacturing methods of continuous improvement. The Electronic Technician is also responsible for performing preventative maintenance and completing work orders. The ability to work in PSAP 911 centers and tower sites to coordinate and solve technical issues. This can include hooking up special industry test equipment for RF communications testing.
