The Electrical Technician performs a variety of tests and checks on electrical systems, components, and equipment to ensure proper operation. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all aspects of automated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, including mechanical, electrical and software faults. Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting electrical controls, including motor drives, relay logic, and conduct installation. Assist the tool crib attendant with inventory and maintenance of spare electrical equipment. Use computers to troubleshoot PLC programs and verify machine operations.
