Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with ship specification requirements while complying with all OSHA, NAVSEA, ABS, local shipyard, and R&P safety policies and procedures. Execute plans of electrical installations to include, but not limited to 115VAC/440VAC/Various VDC equipment, fiber optics, lighting, announcing, RF antennas, audio/video, interior communications and alarms, and network systems. They will operate efficiently in a team environment and demonstrate effective leadership qualities while dealing with junior personnel. Receive mentorship/guidance from Lead Technician or Task Lead for questions on any assigned tasks that are not fully understood. Responsibilities * Execute plans of electrical installations for many different electrical and electronic systems such as lighting, announcing, 115V/440V electrical plant equipment, Uninterrupted Power Supply equipment, Audio/Video equipment, Antenna systems and many others * Install electrical cabinets, fixtures, and equipment for various electrical systems * Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) * Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks using various MIL-SPEC connectors * Pull in cables of various lengths and sizes to accommodate system connections * Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair/replace damaged equipment * Potentially run shipboard availabilities with a small crew. * Learn Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe Acrobat DC.
