Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Associate or Experienced Flight Readiness Technician (Level B or C) to support the 787 Program Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on a Variable Shift!
This position will provide critical production support to the Delivery Center including improving production efficiency, safety and optimizing product quality. Qualified candidates will perform routine final component installation and verification, as well as, systems operational functional validation testing. Flight Readiness Technicians perform rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Performs flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
* Assists in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and assists in repairing faulty components.
* Assists with pre-flight and post-flight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions.
* Resolves identified problems during operation and testing of deliverable products.

Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their NSC2I contract providing C5ISR integration and testing for surface ship new construction. You will be part of a team of technicians that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems. The team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

+ Support NIWC Charleston in the testing of C4ISR systems.
+ Support T-ATS class integration at our North Charleston facility, NIWC test facility, and on board the T-ATS class ships.

Job Description
As a Project Engineering Technician I for Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will be working under the immediate supervision/direction of a registered professional engineer. You will work as a team member alongside site managers and engineers to perform the required inspection or sampling services. Our special Inspections technicians play a critical role in the quality assurance for every construction project no matter how large or small. Special Inspections Technicians actively collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing along with the continuous monitoring of general contractor activities, which may include but are not limited to onsite testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction; foundation/subgrade evaluation; reinforcing steel; concrete placements; masonry as well as asphalt testing. Special Inspections Technicians are also responsible for accurately preparing daily reports for submission to the assigned project engineer. These reports not only include your test results summary, but detailed construction site observations as well.
Minimum Job Requirements
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
Valid Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Driving history (3 years)
Ability to work outdoors on a construction site in all seasons and weather conditions for extended periods of time.
You must be self-motivated, able to efficiently work independently while completing scheduled tasks.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members, BLE leadership, clients, local, state, and federal authorities of all levels.
Must be detail oriented and work in a time conscious and time effective manner.
Basic knowledge in the operation of smartphones and computers for communication and record keeping (MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Outlook).
