Job Description We build and operate escape games and interactive experiences that rely on electronics to create puzzles, effects, and “aha” moments for players. Behind every successful room is a network of sensors, buttons, locks, lights, motors, and control systems-and when something breaks, the game stops. As an Electronics Technician, you are the person that keeps the game alive. This role is focused on supporting escape rooms across the country, primarily by troubleshooting electronics and control systems over the phone and video. The Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in maintaining and repairing cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, like lubricating parts, as well as fixing other problems when the crane malfunction. The Technician position work in a safety-first type of environment. Participate in the development of the annual business plan, long-range plan, and other action-oriented plans as directed by management. This is a field position that requires out-of-town assignments, including working 6-7 days per week and staying in hotels for extended periods. All travel expenses are covered for out-of-town assignments. Responsibilities Monitor and document construction activities at solid waste landfill facilities, including field inspection and testing of soils and geosynthetic liners. Supervise and complete construction quality assurance and construction quality control activities in several states, including the construction of landfill components and other environmental control systems. Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel). Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractor representatives regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection results. Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observations in written and digital reports for daily transmittal to the Weaver Project Manager. Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas. Adhere to strict safety standards. Under close supervision of higher-level technicians or staff professionals, assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observation duties.
