Principal Accountabilities
Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc
Manage the workflow process associated with electronics and some electromechanical areas of the facility, including the ASRS system
Develop preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment associated with electronics and limited electromechanical equipment throughout the facility; including the management of parts inventory and corrective actions

Position Summary:

Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. Security Equipment, Inc. is seeking skilled and dedicated Technician Apprentice's to join our team. As a Technician Apprentice, you will assist on the job site, as needed, with the installation of Burglar Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, and IP Video Surveillance Systems while working under the close supervision of a more Senior Technician or Project Manager. The Technician Apprentice will have the ability to advance their career as an Installation Technician as they gain knowledge, skills, and abilities The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing all assigned duties while learning from the Senior Technicians and Project Managers
Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist Technicians, Senior Technicians and Project Managers
Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks
Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, floors, and other areas as required
Interpret blueprints and schematics
Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, door frames and wall cavities, then position cables for strapping
Inspect installation sites, study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements to ensure installation procedures have been met
Install security systems and related equipment, to include cabling, control panels, security devices and video cameras
Test circuits and sensors to ensure proper functionality
Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed
Requirements:
The ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Successful completion of in house and on the job training
Practical experience working with electrical
Ability to utilize a variety of hand tools and specialty equipment with proficiency
Ability to handle constructive criticism appropriately
Able to climb ladders and manipulate hand tools safely
Must possess a strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks
Able to work various heights using a scissor lift and/or boom lift
Maintain an organized and clean workspace
Knowledge of computer software, hardware, and network infrastructure a plus
Possess a valid driver's license
Must pass a pre-employment background/drug screening

ViaPath is looking for a Telecommunication Technician 3 (Site Admin Technician 3) to join the Field Services team. Under the direction of the Field Service Manager, but working largely independently without and/or limited direct supervision, provide remedial repair, preventive maintenance, and system reliability services. Potentially administer kiosk collection/service activities with customers located geographically throughout an assigned territory.
This position will be based at the client site in McCook, NE with a requirement to travel to other client sites as needed.
Responsibilities
Serve as a positive Ambassador representative for ViaPath when meeting with customers and clients - clearly demonstrating “Service Excellence”
Responsible for overall service of ViaPath products at assigned customer sites and willing to assist the customer at all times
Prioritizing and planning of assigned service calls
Communicating updates associated with assigned service calls
Escalating problems when appropriate
Interacting in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationships
Point of contact for FACILITY staff for any issues regarding customer account
Replacing telephony hardware and network components, basic maintenance practices
Pulling cable, mounting network devices, installing telephony hardware
Administer kiosk service and collections, clearing bill/paper jams, and deposit monies at assigned financial institutions
Basic troubleshooting to include defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions; assisting Technical Support departments with corrective action on deployed hardware and software; developing working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
Wiring troubleshooting to include tracing and repairing or replacing damaged wiring and effecting repairs on 66-Blocks or Cutoff Switches
Handle special projects as assigned by Field Service Manager
Scheduled and/or unscheduled overtime work and callouts are to be expected
Energize and foster an effective and impactful team environment
Troubleshoot video visitation session issues with guidance from ViaPath Technical Support where applicable
Perform basic troubleshooting of tablet functionality, applications, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues where applicable
Return damaged or inoperable equipment in accordance with ViaPath Return Merchandise Authorization process
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience.
Experience troubleshooting, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficient in Windows OS, MS Office, and other software programs that may be required
Proficient with Telephony and Networking, inclusive of copper, CAT 5/6, and fiber optic wiring
Knowledge of wiring color code and fabrication of data cabling.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Must possess a valid driver's license. The willingness and ability to travel to various customer sites daily with the potential for overnight trips
The work atmosphere will be relevant with access to government agencies, jail, and prison environments, with stringent security guidelines to be maintained at-all-times
Ability and willingness to work the scheduled and/or unscheduled overtime work assignments and after-hours callouts.

Position Summary:
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in providing exceptional service and support for our analytical instrumentation. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of service-related functions, including the repair, maintenance, and performance verification of assigned products, including demo equipment and instruments returned from customers.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Provide daily repair and maintenance support for assigned products.
Conduct in-house bench repairs as needed while primarily handling field service calls with limited supervision.
Travel within the local region (including day and overnight trips) to support customer needs.
Offer technical support via phone to customers and field personnel regarding repairs, maintenance and installations.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
At least four years of experience in repairing analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, LCMS, AA, or similar instruments.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of these technologies.
Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
Willingness to travel at least 50%

Compensation & Benefits:
This full-time, non-exempt position comes with a comprehensive benefits package. In your first year, you will receive 10 paid vacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 paid scheduled holidays and 3 paid floating holidays (Residents of California and Puerto Rico will receive state-mandated sick leave instead of personal days). After one year of employment, you will also be eligible for a generous short-term disability program with the company covering 100% of monthly premiums.
The starting salary range for this role is $75,000 to $77,000 annually, paid semi-monthly. As a non-exempt position, you will be eligible for overtime and double time pay, as outlined in our employee handbook. Additional variable compensation includes an incentive plan (10% of base salary) based on company and service performance, paid semi-annually in April and October. A year-end discretionary bonus may also be awarded based on overall company performance.
This position includes a company car with a fuel card (with a $55 per pay deduction for personal use) and a company-paid cell phone, which remains company property but can be used for personal purposes.
