Job Duties
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Ideally 7 or more years' experience in RF and Microwave component testing
Hands-on experience in lumped element, cavity and waveguide filter theory and tuning
Hands-on experience in electrical measurements including but not limited to return loss, insertion loss, rejection, gain, noise figure, 1 dB compression, intermodulation, harmonics, spurious, etc.
Understand DC theory (Ohm's Law)
Experience in following test instructions and manufacturing procedures
Experience working under a microscope including excellent hand-eye coordination
Physical hand dexterity to perform all duties needed to complete the work (will require using small hand tools for prolonged periods)
Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS:
The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of engineering, drafting, and administrative tasks essential to City construction and improvement projects. The work is performed under the direct supervision of a Civil Engineer or other assigned supervisor. The company is seeking a Submarine Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician to join their Portsmouth, New Hampshire team to support an anticipated opening. This role focuses on the submarine aspect of the AN/BLQ-10 system, involving tasks like installation, testing, and repair of the system.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide support to engineering and design staff in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications
Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion & APB cycle of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at various Naval locations

Review change proposals for equipment impacts
Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions
