This candidate will work within the Service Organization to support earthmoving equipment product line. Will act as liaison between CAT, Weiler and Milton CAT. Hands-on technician who supports PCB process engineering and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, executing operator-level process runs and DOEs, collecting and validating process data, supporting root-cause investigations, and maintaining clear operator documentation. Duties/Responsibilities: Operate PCB manufacturing equipment and execute production and NPI builds at the operator level (setups, changeovers, first-article builds) per engineering instructions and short sheets/SOPs. Serve as process owner for assigned machines/processes: maintain readiness, enforce SOP adherence, and act as floor-level point of contact for operators. Prepare, run, document, and collect raw data for Design of Experiments (DOE) and structured trials under guidance of process engineers; ensure disciplined data capture and handoff. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: The principal function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of engineering, drafting, and administrative tasks essential to City construction and improvement projects.
