Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Process paperwork after completion of each job. Prepare, run, document, and collect raw data for Design of Experiments (DOE) and structured trials under guidance of process engineers; ensure disciplined data capture and handoff. Monitor and record process performance metrics (yield, cycle time, defect counts, rework); create/maintain basic SPC charts and flag trends to engineering/quality. Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA, 5-Why, containment activities); execute and verify engineering-prescribed corrective actions on the floor. Maintain and update operator-level documentation (short sheets, SOPs, checklists) in clear, concise language; implement simple poka-yoke/error-proofing where feasible. This role focuses on the submarine aspect of the AN/BLQ-10 system, involving tasks like installation, testing, and repair of the system. Essential Responsibilities: Provide support to engineering and design staff in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications Install, monitor, and service SWFTS Tech-Insertion & APB cycle of AN/BLQ-10 ESM systems at various Naval locations Assist with test and evaluation, checkout, certification tasks. Perform validations/ verifications of various electronic systems Review change proposals for equipment impacts Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements Establish and maintain a filing system, databases, and logs as needed for tracking project status and inventory Provide technical data and evaluation for components installation, equipment maintenance and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout and contract requirements Minimum Qualifications: (Please have following requirements listed on resume before submitting for the position) Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Secret Clearance. Ability to travel 5-10% of the time per year. Five (5) years of practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Three (3) years practical experience and an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program. Practical experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment. Experience in the maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines. Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidate will possess knowledge across multiple submarine platforms and SWFTS systems.
