As a Tier III Electronics Technician, you'll serve as a key link between maintenance and engineering- using advanced technical skills to support automation, controls, and robotic systems across HiTHIUM's large-scale BESS production environment. You'll take ownership of diagnosing, repairing, and optimizing systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components. This role is ideal for a seasoned electro/mechanical technician ready to advance into controls integration and automation reliability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair complex automation issues involving PLCs, sensors, drives, and robotic interfaces.
Support programming adjustments on Robotics, Siemens PLC systems, and system modifications under the direction of engineering.
Perform diagnostics and calibration on robotics, AGVs, and vision-based systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams during equipment commissioning, upgrades, and process optimization.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and support implementation of short/long-term corrective actions.
Analyze downtime data and EAM/MES reports to identify patterns and prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate documentation of electrical and control changes.
Provide technical mentorship to Tier I and Tier II technicians on troubleshooting methodology and automation fundamentals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or controls systems.
Strong understanding of PLCs, sensors, actuators, and motion control.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and mechanical drawings
Familiarity with industrial robotics (KUKA, FANUC, ABB) and automation networks (PROFINET, Ethernet/IP)
Experience with vision or safety systems (Cognex, Keyence).
Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Effective communication and teamwork in cross-functional settings.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
2-year technical school experience
Work Environment & Schedule:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to high-voltage equipment, moving machinery, and automation systems.
Rotating shifts or on-call support may be required depending on production needs.
PPE compliance is mandatory, including electrical arc flash protection when working on live systems.

What would you do
This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction for the fire service business in the local district office. Required
