Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in designing, building, and maintaining machines and systems. You will apply your skills in mechanical engineering, electronics, computer programming, control engineering, and systems design to ensure system stability and efficiency, contributing to the growth and overall success of our business.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, maintain, and manage high-technology engineering systems for the automation of semiconductor FAB.
Apply mechatronic or automated solutions to the transfer of materials, components, or finished goods.
Create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, or finished products.
Maintain technical project files.
Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic equipment.
Research, select, or apply sensors, communication technologies, or control devices for motion control, position sensing, pressure sensing, or electronic communication.
Identify and select materials appropriate for mechatronic system designs.
Install and maintain mechanical control systems.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Mechatronics Technician or similar role.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and computer systems.
Excellent manual dexterity.
Familiar with PLCs, IPCs and other control systems
Exposure to C++, C, Python, Java etc.
Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation.

The Avionics Radio Technician performs line and bench maintenance on a variety of aircraft avionics communication/navigation systems and components. May perform flight line maintenance to include inspect, troubleshoot, test, repair and installation. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task.

Production verification testing of PCB & assemblies.
Using soldering irons, heat guns and reflow oven for PCB soldering, desoldering, rework, and hand build units.
Mechanical build of the PCB assemblies.
Assembling wiring harnesses, cutting wires, crimping ring terminals or ferrules, soldering connector pins to solder cups, applying heat-shrink, and tug-testing of a variety of cables and wire harnesses.
Applying thermal paste to bolted assembly interfaces.

Have the ability to follow work instructions with precision.

As a Engineering Technician, you will be an essential part of keeping our resort running smoothly and ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay. As a Engineering Tech, you will:
Take on a variety of projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance tasks assigned by resort leadership.
Handle general repairs like painting, caulking, and wall touch-ups to keep the property looking its best.
Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues, from unclogging drains to diagnosing problems with toilets, tubs, showers, faucets, and sinks.
Replace light bulbs, check voltage, and keep lighting systems working efficiently.
Install and replace TVs, program remotes, and troubleshoot common electronic issues.
Diagnose appliances, swap out parts, or assist with full replacements when needed.
Support inventory and procurement processes to ensure tools and materials are always on hand.
Use resort systems and software to track and complete tasks effectively.
Communicate professionally with guests and team members-whether in person, over the phone, or via radio/email.
Perform hands-on maintenance and cleaning duties as directed by leadership.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipment while following all PPE and safety standards.
Recognize potential hazards on property and take proactive steps to ensure safety.
Deliver outstanding guest service by listening, responding, and resolving maintenance concerns promptly.
Represent VI Resorts by Westgate with professionalism in your appearance, conduct, and teamwork.
Take on other tasks as needed to support smooth resort operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma (required).
0-1 year of hands-on experience in trades or maintenance, preferably in a resort or commercial environment.
Valid driver's license (must be maintained in good standing).
