Quality control and testing: Inspect finished components for drips, imperfections, and proper coating thickness. Use electrical testing equipment, such as insulation resistance testers, to confirm the integrity of the insulation system. Safety and compliance: Work with hazardous materials in a controlled environment, following all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles and respirators. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and military standards (mil-spec) as required for aviation components. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and testing results for quality assurance and compliance.

Ability to read wire diagrams and disseminate various levels of work instruction related to Line Maintenance and Aircraft Modification. Be able to qualify for airport security badge and customs seal. Ability to travel to remote locations and countries to perform maintenance. 2-5 years air carrier commercial aircraft maintenance experience preferred. A320 Family aircraft experience preferred. Sheet metal and Avionics skills are preferred. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and repairs on all assigned equipment to ensure their proper operation and function in accordance with safety regulations and company policy. What you'll do: Perform routine inspections, basic installations, and minor repairs. Perform general building maintenance which may include carpentry, painting, light plumbing, changing of light bulbs, and repair of minor electrical devices. Maintain all records, such as work orders and necessary reports to ensure accurate recording of activities for code and regulatory purposes. Process work requests and turn in completed work requests in a timely and professional manner. Utilize electronic system to order necessary parts, devices, etc. to properly repair or complete assigned work orders, following department procedures. Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order. Report possible safety issues and recommend appropriate changes. Comply with OSHA, and other local, state and federal regulations. About you: High School Diploma or GED required. An associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred. 1+ year experience in facility maintenance required. Warehouse experience preferred. Servsafe certification is desirable. HACCP certification preferred.
