What you'll get to do:
Performs routine technical functions related to the support of development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronics and Electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video type circuits and logic systems.
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks.
Perform routine operational tests and fault isolation on development systems and equipment to ensure conformance with design specifications.

As an Equipment Technician you will:
Install, Remove and/or Certify Equipment:
Install panoramic X-ray and cone beam equipment and related computers.
Calibrate the equipment to ensure high-quality images and optimum performance.
Test and remove existing equipment for either purchase for recertification or disposal.
Grow the knowledge of our Trusted Dental Technicians through co-travel certifications and manage 3rd party helpers by assigning and monitoring tasks.
Conduct performance tests on purchased equipment to ensure proper quality and condition.
Maintain tools and test equipment properly.
Have a “handyman acumen” - it is necessary to have the mechanical understanding of construction methods to facilitate the installation of capital equipment, electrical connections, low-voltage connection, and be at ease with using power and hand tools.
Provide Services:
Deliver on-site or remote technical support for computers and dental imaging equipment.
Create and maintain necessary technical documentation and procedures.
Complete required internal, regulatory documentation, and expense reports on time.
Install, troubleshooting, and configuration of digital systems controlled by 1-2 computer systems connected via ethernet and wireless methods.
Be a resource to our customers:
Present training to small groups of doctors and dental staff on basic equipment, hardware operations and software training.
Maintain regular communications with customers and team members to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.
Meet health and human services, environmental health and safety and/or other applicable regulatory requirements.
Utilize the escalation process to resolve customer service issues and conduct effective root cause analysis that will lead to effective problem solving.
Work as a member of the team to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery to all assigned customers.

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Technician in our Industrial and Automation division. This position will work closely in the field to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work.
The Industrial Automation Technician role is for individuals with solid industrial electrical experience who are ready to take on challenging work in automation, motor controls, and power systems. Our team works with three-phase power distribution, motors and motor controls, drives and controllers, relay logic, PLC automation, troubleshooting and repair, and control design and integration.
Major Duties:
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain three-phase power distribution systems (permanent and portable).
Work with VFDs, soft starts, HMIs, and PLCs.
Design, install, maintain, and service motor control systems.
Hands-on experience with print reading, controls, motor controls, control design, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of power distribution from 480V three-phase to 120V single-phase.
Proficiency with three-phase and single-phase motors, terminations, splicing, load calculations, ampacity, wire sizing, voltage drop, and overload protection.
Experience using test equipment such as meters, amp probes, power meters, and meggers.
Ability to work at industrial site such as surface mine sites (sand and gravel pits, asphalt plants, concrete plants), oil and gas facilities, manufacturing plants, and other industrial environments.
Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a “Can-Do” positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong understanding of industrial networking and Ethernet/IP communications.

Valid Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician's license (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
MSHA certification or prior experience working on MSHA-regulated sites.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to pass a background check, have a clean MVR, and a valid driver's license.
