Job purpose
We are looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Mechanic to Join our growing team and help drive our customer service goals and objectives in the Field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Field Heavy Equipment service and support, have a commitment to Safety and desire to provide first class customer service.
Duties and responsibilities
* Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Maintains a clean, organized work are free from Safety issues and concerns.
* Utilizes a variety of techniques and tools to inspect, assess, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions on a variety of heavy equipment applications
* Maintains accurate reports and information on equipment and repairs to ensure accurate billing and service logs.
* Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
* Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications
* Brings to the attention of the shop manager any additional work required on unit or visible signs of damage including out of service conditions and safety hazards.
* Cleans, lubricates, and performs preventative maintenance work on equipment and vehicles as required
* Keeps abreast of all changes in various models of equipment sold and serviced by the distributors to maintain and upgrade technical competencies and knowledge through in-house and external training sources.
* Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Must have a CDL B License
* High School diploma and graduation from an accredited technical school in diesel engine/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair preferred but not required.
* Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required.
* Must have own tools.
* Volvo and/or other dealership or industry experience preferred.
* Skill in the use of a variety of diagnostic testing and tuning equipment.
* Working experience with computer systems and maintenance software preferred
* Advanced technical software application understanding with relevant industry experience highly desired.
* Strong organizational and customer service skills to ensure high level customer service
* Ability to work overtime when required
* Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Working conditions
* Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary.

1 - 3 years of experience as an electrician in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining; experience working with machinery, overhead cranes, equipment operation or a closely related field preferred
Valid Colorado license and mobile equipment qualification
Strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your time when given multiple tasks
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel

What You Will Do
Calibration of critical and non-critical instrument transmitters across the factory using multifunction calibrators and the DCS (distributed control system). This includes documentation and record keeping of calibrations in AMS (Asset Management System). This also requires planning of calibration due date's to not impact customers.
Troubleshooting and replacement/repair of malfunctioned instruments including control system hardware. Technician will use a variety of test equipment to troubleshoot including field communicators, AMS (Asset Management System), digital volt meters, amp meters, advanced multifunction calibrators, and oscilloscopes as needed. Responsibilities include primarily working with 4-20mA analog current loops and 24VDC/120VAC discrete control voltage along with HART, Modbus, and Fieldbus communication protocol systems. The use of control loop drawings and P&ID's is required for troubleshooting instrument issues.
Perform PM's (preventative maintenance) and work order completion for SAP scheduled events.
Specifying/solicit quotes from vendors and ordering of new/replacement instrumentation equipment.
Support of new instrumentation commissioning and startup.
Support senior technicians with equipment troubleshooting as needed.
Work safely and be able to troubleshoot analog signal loops and 24VDC/120VAC discrete control loops.
Ability to troubleshoot Digital Communication Systems. (HART, MODBUS and FIELDBUS)
Ability to calibrate pressure, temperature and flow transmitters using multifunction calibrators. (e.g. Beamex MC6)
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
ISA CCST Level One certification (or equivalent) or applicable associates degree (Electrical Technology, Instrumentation and Controls, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics Technology or similar program).
Qualifications We Prefer:

Your Impact
The Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) in the PEARCE Renewables Solar Operations and Maintenance Division performs tasks involving physical labor at solar energy sites near Pueblo, Colorado. Medical Equipment Technician
Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.
Job Duties:
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all
applicable governmental regulations.
Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.
Educate customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.
Complete required documentation following equipment setup, delivery or pickups as required.
Assist with customer equipment problems under emergency conditions.
Process all orders in a timely, accurate manner.
Promote services and products to referral sources in the community as appropriate.
Develop basic reimbursement knowledge and completely document all information necessary to ensure
reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products, and services.
Assist with implementation of quality improvement program to meet company policies.
Maintain home oxygen systems through regularly scheduled visits to customers.
Safely drive and maintain company vehicle.
Perform patient assessment and re-assessment for patient care.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required in accordance with
company policies.
Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policies and
procedures.
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company.
Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in accordance with company policy.
Retain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),
infection control and hazardous materials handling.
Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
Completes assigned compliance training and other educational programs as required.
Maintains compliant with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program
Responsible for cleaning equipment when assigned by supervisor or down time allows, following the Branch
Maintenance and Cleaning Guidelines
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Entry level sales, customer service background essential
One (1) year of Military, delivery driver with sales component or health care technician experience would be
considered related experience and preferred.
Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The Fountain Valley Facility is a 240 MW simple cycle, natural gas-fired, peaking facility with a PPA with PSCo to 2032. The plant is located in Fountain, Colorado. Adjacent to the Fountain Valley Facility is 145 vacant acres of land for future development.
THE CHALLENGE
Perform operations, testing, maintenance and administrative functions of a distributive control system (DCS) and all associated field devices including the Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) for a simple cycle gas power plant.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers processes and procedures as required by the O&M Manager, which includes:
Identify and implement On-condition tasks.
Evaluate recommended changes based on cost/benefit.
Specify instrument and electrical changes as required.
Required to complete the O&M Tech I qualification process. Qualification is required within 2 years of date of hire.
Work safely, following company and operator policies, procedures, and work practices in a positive, cooperative, and productive manner.
Computes and analyzes test data.
Use installed and portable test equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment and systems.
Monitor, maintain and review all system startup procedures to determine control and electrical personnel support requirements.
Coordinates job activities relating to job planning, work methods, job standards and job reporting for the work assigned.
Perform both routine and non-routine preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
Assist other plant personnel as needed.
Maintenance and upkeep of site buildings and grounds.
Maintain, calibrate and repair plant instrumentation and control devices.
Prepares, maintains and provides a variety of reports/documents as required or upon request.
Reviews P&I Drawings and logic diagrams.
Communicates condition of plant systems, equipment and pertinent information to others.
Coordinates job activities relating to job planning, work methods, job standards and job reporting for the work assigned.
Creates procedures related to instrumentation and electrical systems.
Directs and performs work in accordance with policies and procedures as established by the company and regulatory agencies.
Operate all plant mobile equipment, forklift, man lift, etc.

THE PROFILE TO SUCCEED
A two-year technical degree and a minimum of 5 years of power plant and/or industrial electrical, instrumentation or electronics experience is required.
In lieu of a degree, significant power plant and/or industrial electrical or electronics experience may also qualify an applicant for this position.
Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), GE Mark VI and ABB Bailey INFI 90, Various PLC Controllers, Teledyne Monitor Labs CEMS controls and equipment. Programming and configuration capabilities preferred.
Knowledge of equipment operating limits, parameters, operating procedures and systems. Performs corrective actions if limits are exceeded.
Working knowledge of combined cycle power plant system, power plant operations, and maintenance, electrical principles, work practices, procedures and materials.
Ability to interpret control drawings and P&ID's.
Ability to make maintenance related decisions with minimum direct supervision.
Knowledge of instrumentation test equipment, signal generators, relay tests sets, oscilloscopes and computers.
Knowledge of industry related CEM System hardware, software and reporting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to learn.
Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity and mathematics.
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

The Engineering Technician III will be supporting the buildup and modernization of USSC (United States Space Command) facilities around Colorado Springs. The purpose of this task is to provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I)/Information Technology (IT) electronic systems equipment, infrastructure, engineering, design, installation, and Supply and Warehouse support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) during design, installation, configuration, and transition to operations of the IT infrastructure for multiple facilities throughout the period of performance. * Contributes to all phases of the AV and IT infrastructure installation or upgrade as deemed appropriate by team lead.
* Pulls and dresses fiber optic and Category 6A copper cables.
* Installs of racks/cabinets/credenzas and all peripheral equipment.
* Racks and stacks of equipment in racks/credenzas.
* Terminates copper cable up to CAT6A and SM/MM Fiber single strand to MPO/MTP.
* Helps to solve issues related to cables and networks with guidance and/ or instruction.
* Tests and documents of all cables.
* Installs of Thinklogical, Extron and Creston AV Matrix Routing and Extension Solutions.
* Installs per a SIPH standard IDP, adapt/troubleshoot/modify where necessary, and provides redlines back to an AutoCAD drafter for As-built updates with proper guidance and instruction from team lead
* Works with the team and is advised on ways to resolve technical/physical issues often requiring coordination with other disciplines: networking, facilities, HVAC, electrical, security, etc.
* Conducts and documents PITCO activities as instructed.
* Performs instructed assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed as guided by the team lead.
* Adapts standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents prescribed by team lead.
* Receives initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from team lead, supervisor, engineer, as needed. Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions.
* Provides support in the demolition and disposal of current powers system equipment under supervision and instruction of electrician maintenance.
* Conducts performance tests of IT and AV systems.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate degree, technical certification and/or a minimum of three (3) years' related experience supporting cabling, equipment and IT Network System Installation. Minimum three (3) years of troubleshooting and repairing systems. Minimum three (3) years' experience in using Microsoft office and other AV software programs; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
