Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade Industrial boiler controls sensors and field devices.

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Technical school a plus.

Position Summary: Perform the duties required to set up, conduct and record data for testing.
Essential Functions
Debug and trouble shoot machine-operating software.
Determine proper test for a specific tool or machine when test parameters are not provided.
Choose proper tooling for honing and feed parameters and fixturing to properly run the test.
Determine honing parameters including speeds, feeds pressures, stroke lengths, stroke rates.
Hone test parts with prototype equipment to hold very close tolerances per requested engineer specifications.
Verify part specification using micrometers, surface finish analyzing equipment, roundness checkers and a variety of precision measuring equipment.
Collect an extensive amount of data that could be pertinent to the success or failure of a tool or a machine.
Calculate honing ratio, volumetric stonewear, volumetric stock removal and stock removal rate.
Prepare reports, graphs and draw conclusions from the data collected and relay information to the engineer in charge.
Troubleshoot any unusual circumstances and report to proper engineer.
Disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble machines, oil carts, tools, etc.
Communicate with supervisors, engineers and fellow employees.
Train personnel on existing and prototype equipment.
Determine if customer complaints are valid with specific tools and machines; demonstrate tools or machinery to customers, fellow employees, board members and family members.
Modify test and/or machine parts by using drill press, drill motors, mills and other shop equipment.
Make recommendations to the appropriate engineer for changes in tooling and/or machines.
Work with related departments to ascertain the proper information, tooling and machine changes, and special unconventional work.
Move and set up prototype and standard type machines.

Ensures employees and processes operate in an environmentally responsible manner.
Promotes waste minimization, energy conservation, and other efforts to meet environmental objectives.
Familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Safe work practices in an industrial environment.
Strong working knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscope and other electronic testers.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficient skill level simple mathematics
Ability to work with supervision to realize company goals.
Perform work with attention to detail.
Ability to acquire passport and travel to international and domestic sites (Estimate - 10%)
Education/Experience
5+ years in electronics or related field
Electrical or electronics engineering degree is strongly preferred. In lieu of degree, candidates possessing eight (8) or more years of relevant CNC electrical experience will be considered.
Proven machining experience or work in a heavy CNC manufacturing environment.
Physical requirements
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to use ladder and climb stairs.
Ability to be work from heights.
Ability to exert average physical effort, occasionally lifting materials and parts up to 50 lbs.
