KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and perform correct robotic welding parameters, welding procedures, operations, and programs
Responsible for the advanced setup, program adjustments, operation, and maintenance of the machine
Create robotic weld programs, modify existing programs, and conduct welding cell cycle time calculations according to the standard work instructions.
Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of robotic and weld equipment
Complete documentation in a timely manner
Train and mentor new employees
Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space

QUALIFICATIONS
Typically requires a high school diploma and up to 4 years of experience
Read and understand shop orders and blueprint, safety rules, standard work instructions written in English.
Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to use hand tools in a safe and proper manner.

Phibro's Ethanol Performance (EPG) business helps to optimize customers' plant operations through the highest quality products.
The Ethanol Equipment Technician is an integral part of our Sales & Marketing team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.
Compensation range for this position is $65,000.00 -$80,000.00
Position Purpose
This position will focus on providing installation and preventative maintenance of Phibro Ethanol's product dosing equipment, in a collaborative effort with Phibro Ethanol Sales and Technical Services. This position will work within a team setting to rovide customized service to the sales and tech service organization and our customer base.
Candidate Profile
This candidate is highly energetic and entrepreneurial with a keen appreciation of the North American Ethanol market. A successful candidate is self-motivated and demonstrates a strong inclination for problem solving. They would provide ambition and focus and help support the Phibro Ethanol team in growing our biofuels business by supporting both current and new/future products. A successful candidate must be capable of rolling up their sleeves and take personal responsibility for success. They are closely connected to the day-to-day opportunities and challenges of the industry. They must be willing to travel and have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of a high performing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Execute PM's per CMMS schedule
Assist with all aspects of equipment installation
Assist with customer installation training
Support existing business through shutdown/outage borescoping of systems cleaned by our products and chemistries - or in preparation for turning on our products
Onsite startup and commissioning of equipment
Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of equipment using IOT platform and other available tools
Drive Phibro Ethanol initiatives including new product implementation
Maintain stewardship of Phibro Brand, Image and Identity Guidelines
Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop strong working knowledge of product portfolio
Ensure high quality technical support of customer base
Work with sales and tech service teams to gather technical information, to promote sales and new products within the biofuels and distilled spirits industry

Position Summary:

Position Summary:
The Automation Integration & Installation position is an intermediate level production and service position that is responsible for integrating, installing, maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing automation equipment - particularly equipment that DeGeest Corporation sells to external customers. The role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure the reliable operation and optimal performance of automated machinery and processes. The position's primary focus is preparing and integrating robots and automation systems in-house to then travel and install these units at customer locations. The position also requires the ability to perform service calls, tech questions, and service and preventive maintenance travel to customer locations. Travel is an important factor in this position. Typical travel is 16 weeks per year but could be up to 25 weeks or more if customer demand exists.
Responsibilities:
Integrate and install robotic finishing systems.
Execute mechanical assembly of robotic finishing systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to clients of installed equipment.
Support customer service calls and aid in troubleshooting.
Understand and follow verbal and written work instructions and/or blueprints, including system build-sheets.
Administer communication of project status and maintain records and reports to management team.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred education - Completion of a 2 or more-year post-secondary training program in robotics, mechatronics, or industrial technology.
Preferred candidates will have experience in electronics and/or the technical repair and maintenance of industrial equipment. A strong background in electrical work is highly valued for this role, and individuals with experience as electricians are strongly encouraged to apply.
