LIGHT ELECTRONIC TESTING POSITION (PART-TIME)

This is an entry level part-time position for someone that has an interest in learning electronics. We can train you if the position interests you. Quiet workspace allows you to listen to your own music and work at the same time.

*Job Purpose -* Inspect, test, sort, and process semi-assembled or fully assembled electronic products or parts. Work may be performed before, after, and/or during processing of the test. You will be hooking radio boards to a radio test set / PC interface, running the test, & recording results, pass or fail. The variety is in the types of tests to be run, but the process is similar.
*Tasks*

* Counts number of products tested or inspected, and stacks or arranges for further processing, shipping, or packing.
* Discards or routes defective products for rework or reuse.
* Examines product to determine visual defects.
* Marks product to identify defects,
* Notifies supervisor of deviations from specifications, machine malfunctions, or need for equipment maintenance.
* Records defective product and the test step it failed in ERP system.
* Tests samples, materials, or products, using test equipment, such as voltmeter, computer, or other fixtures, for conformance to specifications.
* Uses or operates product to test functional performance.
* Calibrates RF circuit boards using a PC and other test equipment.
* Use software to digitally set testing values and specification standards.
* Manually adjust components to achieve a desired value or level.
* Perform microphone, receiver, and transmitter tests.
* Perform Quality Control (Q.C.) inspections, i.e. visual, mechanical, and performance.
* Set electronic specifications based on a written procedure or guideline.

This is a first shift, Thursday to Sunday position\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Ability to set up and operate equipment and special tools as necessary to , align, adjust, evaluate and verify conformance of electrical, electronic, electro\-, electro\-optical products to engineering specifications and other criteria\.

Some test areas may require repetitive lifting of items as heavy as 25 pounds, must be able to perform lifting tasks\.

Must be able to work in an ISO 14644\-1 Class 7 cleanroom environment as needed\.

This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen\.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Summary/Purpose

The Electronic Analyzer & Tester's primary duty is to ensure that military and commercial avionics products perform their specifications in a satisfactory manner. Responsibilities include administering standardized functional and environmental tests and troubleshooting from a system level down to component level.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Understand and follow test specifications and procedures
* Ensure product compliance and quality
