SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-13 LEVEL:
You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized for this position includes: Analyzing and evaluating a wide range of service-wide program requirements, objectives, operating methods, and regulatory guidelines to determine effectiveness of assigned programs; Experience analyzing data for programs of strategic importance and developing new approaches and/or improving existing techniques for program delivery; Experience independently assessing the effectiveness of programs and policies to administer programs and improve existing business processes; Experience developing conclusions and recommendations based on analysis, participating in various workgroups, and conducting final presentations to all levels in the organization; Experience using oral and written communications to write and present professional materials for a service-wide audience (i.e., information letters and briefings to publicize a program at all Internal Revenue Service levels).
In addition to the above, to be eligible for this position in the EAGLE Program, your most recent performance appraisal must be rated 'Fully Successful' or higher.
MEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT:
You must meet applicable TIG requirements to be considered eligible. To meet TIG for positions above the GS-05 grade level, you must have served at least one year (52 weeks) at the next lower grade (or equivalent) in the normal line of progression for the position you are applying to. Advancement to positions up to GS-05 is permitted if the position to be filled is no more than two grades above the lowest grade held within the preceding 52 weeks.
