Position Overview
Territory Managers are responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account revenue growth and customer satisfaction within specified product lines and geography. Focus areas will include driving new business with responsibility for achieving sales expectations in an assigned territory while providing exceptional service and support to physicians to meet their patient's needs. The Territory Manager is responsible for case coverage in catheter labs while working with physicians and key decision makers.
Essential Job Functions
* Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote Shockwave products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
* Meet with a variety of physicians and other hospital personnel to determine customers' needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled.
* Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
* Routinely attend procedures/cases in hospital operating rooms and advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs of physicians' and OR staff.
* Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory in order to attain quota.
* Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other business units to identify selling opportunities and present to potential clients.
* Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists, and Vascular Surgeons.
* Build and maintain solid customer relationships.
* Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and ability to speak clinically to physicians at a high level.
* Complete and processes timely reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, careful account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
* Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company.
* Comply with all corporate compliance, FDA, medical device, quality standards and ethics.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred). May substitute 3 years' cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
* Successful Sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary sales experience with peripheral influence preferred but not required.
* Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
* Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within the assigned territory in conjunction with near-term plans to ensure the territory's objectives are achieved.
* Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians. Obtain new users for company products and services.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
* Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business.
* Must have a valid driver's license.
* Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
* There may be continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day)
* Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25lbs or more. Employees may be required to work in an air-conditioned space and possibly perform some tasks in non-temperature-controlled space.

* The base pay for this position is $120,000 as well as a variable compensation component.
* The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.

**General Responsibilities:**
+ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how to create a compelling and logical rationale for the value of products and how to contrast, compare, and position our company brand(s) versus competition using appropriate resources in informed discussions about products with HCP customers - knowing when/how to seek and provide additional information
+ Act as primary point of contact for customer. Meet with key customers/personnel to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers.
+ Possess knowledge of cancer staging and possible treatment options and dosing schedules associated with different tumors/diseases, with comprehensive understanding of the impact of those options on the patient. Must understand impact and use of clinical trials in multiple tumor types/therapies, both in impact on promoted products and in practice behavior of the account.
+ Ability to analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment. This includes the multiple channels of drug distribution, Oncology GPO's, wholesalers and specialty pharmacies. Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed, outpatient vs in-patient infusion, as part of hospital contract, etc.
+ Demonstrate ability to understand complex account interdependencies in order to develop both short- and long-term account plans in conjunction with a wide array of stakeholders, proactively working with the account team and supervisor (known as the Customer Team Leader) to effectively execute the account plan. Share learnings and best-practices from one customer to help other customers meet their needs.
+ Influence beyond their specific geography or product area demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in oncology accounts, using the insights to position our company Oncology brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy.

$156,900.00 - $247,000.00

**Position Overview**
Territory Managers are responsible for cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account revenue growth and customer satisfaction within specified product lines and geography. Focus areas will include driving new business with responsibility for achieving sales expectations in an assigned territory while providing exceptional service and support to physicians to meet their patient's needs. The Territory Manager is responsible for case coverage in catheter labs while working with physicians and key decision makers.
**Essential Job Functions**
+ Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote Shockwave products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
+ Meet with a variety of physicians and other hospital personnel to determine customers' needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled.
+ Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
+ Routinely attend procedures/cases in hospital operating rooms and advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs of physicians' and OR staff.
+ Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory in order to attain quota.
+ Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other business units to identify selling opportunities and present to potential clients.
+ Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists, and Vascular Surgeons.
+ Build and maintain solid customer relationships.
+ Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and ability to speak clinically to physicians at a high level.
+ Complete and processes timely reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, careful account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred). May substitute 3 years' cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
+ Successful Sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary sales experience with peripheral influence preferred but not required.
+ Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
+ Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within the assigned territory in conjunction with near-term plans to ensure the territory's objectives are achieved.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Form collaborative partnerships with decision-makers at large integrated delivery networks and medical groups to conduct needs assessments and deliver compliant solutions that will increase access and the appropriate use of Pfizer vaccines.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with targeted Integrated Delivery Networks, Medical Groups and Buying Groups. Enable such through collaboration with PCA contracting team and alignment to brand contracting strategy

Vaccine Account Managers (VAM) collaborate with Pfizer partners to grow appropriate use of Pfizer Vaccines and the overall immunization rates of organized customers by identifying shared objectives, aligning resources and deploying innovative solutions to achieve targeted clinical and business results. This is accomplished through identifying, prioritizing, and managing opportunities to affect access, immunization practices, programs, education, and processes that will increase the appropriate use of Pfizer vaccines. A VAM's primary focus is to ensure access to the Pfizer vaccine portfolio and improve immunization rates through the development of productive relationships, influence, and when appropriate, contract negotiation.
Areas of customer focus include but are not limited to administrative and decision making roles of all levels at integrated health systems, large medical groups, health insurance plans, state departments of health, county/city health departments, purchasing groups, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), professional associations and advocacy groups/coalitions. Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of the complexities associated with the changing healthcare environment are critical to the VAM role in assessing how these changes affect the various customer segments we serve. VAMs must strictly abide by all company policies and applicable government regulations.
Approximately 25%-50% travel is required based on geography.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Form collaborative partnerships with decision-makers at large integrated delivery networks and medical groups to conduct need assessments and deliver compliant solutions that will increase access and the appropriate use of Pfizer vaccines.
Develop productive relationships with decision makers at managed care organizations and other health plans to ensure access and the appropriate use of Pfizer vaccines and programs. This includes a clear understanding of the commercial, Medicaid and Medicare landscape as it relates to the availability of Pfizer vaccines.
Develop productive relationships with State Department of Health Immunization Program Management to understand state policies and ensure the implementation of the appropriate tactics to maximize utilization of Pfizer Vaccines and increase vaccination rates. This can include calling on the largest public (VFC) clinics and practices in coordination with local and regional sales partners.
Lead the local coordination of internal colleagues at targeted accounts through communication and collaboration to ensure alignment across various stakeholders to maximize opportunities and enable pull through of access opportunities with the Pfizer Vaccines portfolio.
Prioritize customers, opportunities and projects to maximize impact; leveraging all available data sets and stakeholder input to optimal decision making.
Execute marketing programs across customer segments and present approved materials to deliver value added messaging in a compelling manner; developing and executing programs that are strategic in nature and may have near, mid, and long term market and financial impact.
Negotiate and manage contracts with targeted Integrated Delivery Networks, Medical Groups and Buying Groups. Enable such through collaboration with PCA contracting team and alignment to brand contracting strategy.
Drive innovation and new approaches that help exceed BU business objectives by proactively engaging leadership
Collaborate with across all customer facing teams (Internal Medicine, Oncology, Gov't Relations, Medical, IS, KAM, etc.) to ensure the customer is prioritized by taking a one Pfizer approach
Stay current and strategically align with the changing healthcare environment resulting from the implementation of the Affordable Care Act to include the application of health information technology and quality metrics. Understanding the impact this legislation has on access to pneumococcal and meningococcal immunizations across various customer segments and internal partners. Be a local expert on these areas and be ready to educate colleagues across Pfizer on insights gained.
Provide the marketing and strategy teams with key local and customer specific insights that they can utilize in crafting new market-specific materials.
Cultivate relationships and generate support from KOLs and organizational decision makers (public and private)
Customers could include accounts with various scopes to include local, regional and national footprints.
Maintain active customer plans and data sets via company planning resources (iPlan), actively maintaining and sharing such information with areas business partners
Collaborate with local immunization panels, AAP & AAFP chapters, and coalitions to promote appropriate compliance with immunization practices
Meet or exceed product performance objectives for assigned portfolio of vaccines. KPIs include, but are not limited to, vaccine portfolio utilization, Health IT / protocol development, contract closure and performance, and subjective peer and leader feedback, collaboration, project management, selling skills, and administration.
Demonstrate use of the organizational selling approach (PACE) and leverage resources and programs to continually develop capabilities (VAM Developmental Pathways, Evolving Healthcare Landscape trainings, etc.)
Adhere to and model all Pfizer Values and Compliance principles
QUALIFICATIONS
BS/BA Degree Required, Master's degree preferred
5-10 years of previous pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience with a proven track record of performance and meeting organizational goals.
Prior team management and / or account management preferred or an IDP-aligned development role for account management with demonstrated leadership across peer and manager groups
Demonstrated track record of assessing account needs and aligning appropriate tools and resources to drive performance
Demonstrated track record of strong business acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, and project management skills, as well as excellent planning and prioritization skills
Demonstrated track record of strong leadership, collaboration and effective utilization of available resources to drive performance
Demonstrated advanced negotiation skills; contracting experience preferred
Demonstrated experience leveraging data and all available information to prioritize business opportunities
Prior experience with vaccine or specialty products preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills and proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook
Candidate must live in or be willing to relocate to a location that is within a commutable distance to the headquarter city for the territory as approved by the Vaccine Account Director and the National Account Management Lead.
Approximately 25%-50% travel is required.
Valid US driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards. Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Your Role:
As the Account Manager with MilliporeSigma, you will be part of the Milli-Q Lab Water Solutions team, responsible for the sale of the company's Milli-Q Lab Water products and services through direct sales and distribution channels. You are driven to achieve sales targets and will work to develop and maintain solid working relationships with identified distributors within the territory, as well as manage the territory through planned coverage and follow-up of key accounts, end-users, and leads. This role is technical in nature and requires one to maintain a high level of technical and application competence and utilize this knowledge in a manner which will add value to our products and services while promoting and maintaining customer allegiance.
The person in this role will be responsible for an assigned territory encompassing regions within Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, traveling 40% to 50% of the time.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree
2+ years of experience in technical sales and direct sales to the scientific community
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science or business field
5+ years previous experience in technical sales and direct selling activities to the scientific community
Background in Life Science or Engineering
Familiarity with laboratory applications, testing, and instrumentation
Ability to develop and demonstrate solutions in technical areas
Proven ability to understand and articulate both technical product aspects and product market positioning
Familiarity with the clinical marketspace
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Basic computer skills and understanding of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Range for this position: $66,900-124,400 per year
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
