Eliot is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist Bilingual in English/Portuguese to join our Early Intervention (EI) division. Eliot's Early Intervention Program supports children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities in the Everett, Malden, and Medford area. Our multidisciplinary team delivers community-based therapeutic interventions using a coaching model with parents and caregivers.
As a Mental Health Specialist, you will participate in screenings, assessments, center and home visits, child and parent groups, and will provide service coordination for families along with consultation regarding clinical and developmental issues.
Responsibilities:
Assess children's development using standardized tools and provide interventions targeting cognitive, psychosocial, and family systems needs
Deliver transdisciplinary services and collaborate with families to develop individualized treatment goals in the IFSP
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to plan and coordinate care with families, physicians, and community agencies
Complete documentation, including assessments, IFSPs, progress notes, and insurance reports, within required timelines
Maintain compliance with DPH and agency standards and provide in-service training within your area of expertise
Qualifications:
Requires an Master's degree in Psychology or related field
Experience working with young children
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

$58,300 - $58,300 USD

About the Program
At The Home, we believe strong families are the backbone of strong communities. Our Community Service Agencies (CSAs) provide individualized, family-driven coordination of care to meet the complex needs of children and families who are involved in child and family-serving systems and may be experiencing emotional, behavioral, safety or mental health difficulties.
Each of our CSAs now offer a Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) service which provides short-term, flexible, hands-on support at home, helping families navigate tough times, strengthen connections and keep kids in their communities. The FIT service is designed for MassHealth youth under 21 with serious emotional challenges. It is delivered by a specialized team of clinicians, paraprofessionals, family partners and includes access to prescribers and behavioral therapists.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Senior Director, the FIT Senior Clinician oversees the delivery of Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) services under CBHI, providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to FIT clinicians and staff. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care for youth services to children under the age of 21 with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), SUD, ASD, IDD and their families under the CBHI framework.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Complete review of FIT records in accordance with CBHI specifications
* Oversee FIT specific referrals and make assignments
* Monitor documentation compliance and service delivery outcomes
* Review and approve clinical assessments and treatment plans to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with CBHI and agency standards.
* Facilitate individual, dyad, and group supervision, weekly supervision, and regular staff meetings and training as required.
* Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring to FIT clinicians and staff
* Participate in staffing meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team discussions
* Support with crisis intervention and stabilization efforts as needed
* Carry a caseload of 1-3 clients
* Facilitate daily "Wrap Rounds"
* Deliver intensive family therapy to youth and family in their home or chosen community-based setting
* Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of the youth and family
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments inclusive of the CANS and CRAFFT
* Maintains timely and accurate documentation in the program's eHR per agency, MCE, and CBHI guidelines
* Maintains ongoing communication with families, collaborates with CBHI services, schools, and providers, and meets with assigned youth and families 3-5 times weekly to ensure coordinated care.

* Provide crisis stabilization and safety planning for at-risk youth and families.

About the Program
The Home's Child and Family Counseling Center (CFCC) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic, providing treatment, therapy and prevention services to adults, children and their families who are facing emotional, behavioral, developmental or academic challenges.
Many of those who receive services have experienced toxic stresses. In addition to meeting with families at our clinic, The Home's CFCC clinicians are also embedded in over 50 schools.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Provide case management services; act as a liaison with collateral agencies and programs; establish and maintain relationship services that support client and family growth. About the Program
The Home's Child and Family Counseling Center (CFCC) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic, providing treatment, therapy and prevention services to adults, children and their families who are facing emotional, behavioral, developmental or academic challenges.
Many of those who receive services have experienced toxic stresses. In addition to meeting with families at our clinic, The Home's CFCC clinicians are also embedded in over 50 schools.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Provide case management services; act as a liaison with collateral agencies and programs; establish and maintain relationship services that support client and family growth. Act as an advocate for families, support parents where appropriate to advocate for themselves and their children. Help families develop the skills needed to navigate the social service system.
* Utilize treatment modalities that are consistent with program goals and that best fit with clients' age and treatment needs, including play/expressive therapy, group therapy and family therapy.
* Perform initial assessment and evaluation of new clients and families. Identify treatment needs and barriers to growth and development. Design treatment plans that address and specify outcomes. Collaborate with clients and family members to develop treatment objectives. Demonstrate cultural awareness, humility, curiosity and sensitivity.
* Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide quality care. Attend staff meetings and case conferences, present client material. Consult with supervisor and team members on challenging or difficult client issues. Facilitate communication between various providers.
* Submit reports, documentation and billing in a timely manner as determined by agency expectations. Ensure that documentation meets utilization review and quality assurance standards.

About the Program
At The Home, we believe strong families are the backbone of strong communities. Our Community Service Agencies (CSAs) provide individualized, family-driven coordination of care to meet the complex needs of children and families who are involved in child and family-serving systems and may be experiencing emotional, behavioral, safety or mental health difficulties.
Each of our CSAs now offer a Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) service which provides short-term, flexible, hands-on support at home, helping families navigate tough times, strengthen connections and keep kids in their communities. The FIT service is designed for MassHealth youth under 21 with serious emotional challenges. It is delivered by a specialized team of clinicians, paraprofessionals, family partners and includes access to prescribers and behavioral therapists.
About the Role
Under the direction of the Senior Director, the FIT Senior Clinician oversees the delivery of Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) services under CBHI, providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support to FIT clinicians and staff. This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based care for youth services to children under the age of 21 with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), SUD, ASD, IDD and their families under the CBHI framework.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Complete review of FIT records in accordance with CBHI specifications
* Oversee FIT specific referrals and make assignments
* Monitor documentation compliance and service delivery outcomes
* Review and approve clinical assessments and treatment plans to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with CBHI and agency standards.
* Facilitate individual, dyad, and group supervision, weekly supervision, and regular staff meetings and training as required.
* Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and mentoring to FIT clinicians and staff
* Participate in staffing meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team discussions
* Support with crisis intervention and stabilization efforts as needed
* Carry a caseload of 1-3 clients
* Facilitate daily "Wrap Rounds"
* Deliver intensive family therapy to youth and family in their home or chosen community-based setting
* Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the individual needs of the youth and family
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments inclusive of the CANS and CRAFFT
* Maintains timely and accurate documentation in the program's eHR per agency, MCE, and CBHI guidelines
* Maintains ongoing communication with families, collaborates with CBHI services, schools, and providers, and meets with assigned youth and families 3-5 times weekly to ensure coordinated care.
* Convenes monthly meetings with youth, family, providers, clinicians, and school representatives
* Provide crisis stabilization and safety planning for at-risk youth and families.

Driving Requirements

Education and Experience
* Master's degree in social work, mental health, or related discipline

About the Program
The Home's Child and Family Counseling Center (CFCC) is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic, providing treatment, therapy and prevention services to adults, children and their families who are facing emotional, behavioral, developmental or academic challenges.
Many of those who receive services have experienced toxic stresses. In addition to meeting with families at our clinic, The Home's CFCC clinicians are also embedded in over 50 schools.
How You Will Be Making a Difference
* Provide case management services; act as a liaison with collateral agencies and programs; establish and maintain relationship services that support client and family growth. Act as an advocate for families, support parents where appropriate to advocate for themselves and their children. Help families develop the skills needed to navigate the social service system.

Eliot's Juvenile Justice residential program provides placement for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21, while awaiting court proceedings assessment, or and those involved in treatment. This highly structured, self-contained program provides comprehensive interventions for juvenile offenders, including fully accredited schools and clinical support with individual and group therapy, staffed by trained professionals. All components are integrated through a Positive Youth Development framework
In this role you will provide individual, family and group clinical support, therapy and interventions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents in a team environment, and an understanding and/or willingness to learn and implement the tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with youth, parents, referral and funding sources, siblings and/or extended safety nets.
Provide individual and family therapy in accordance with the program, Department of Youth Services (DYS), Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) and Eliot policies and procedures.
Manage the development and implementation of Individual Service Plans.
