The NAN Project, a division of Eliot, is seeking positive Peer Mentors to join our team. The NAN Project works to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs for young people, using a peer-to-peer model. As a Peer Mentor, you will work to provide support to our peers as well as work in coordination with schools to spread mental health awareness.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize attending presentations, school orientation meetings, peer mentor training sessions, and professional development opportunities, as requested
Create and deliver personal stories that highlight the mental health challenges faced by young people in school, along with the resources and supports that aided recovery
Reflect on how aspects of identity-such as race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality-have influenced personal mental health experiences and recovery during high school
Share stories with the intent to inspire hope, reduce stigma, and educate students about mental health challenges and the path to recovery
Develop multiple versions of Comeback Stories tailored to specific student populations and demographics
Qualifications:
Requires a High school diploma or equivalent
Lived experience with mental health
Passion for youth mental health advocacy
Schedule: Flexible, part-time schedule depending on school presentations.
Location: Training in Lynn

Eliot is seeking supportive and dedicated Stabilization Specialists to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program. Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) is a twenty four hour program designed to stabilize and support adults in psychiatric distress. This program is designed as an alternative to hospitalization providing short term overnight crisis care.
As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting adults with mental illness in their individual recovery journeys. The ideal candidate should be strongly committed to recovery-oriented services, and have the skills necessary to build supportive relationships with clients and their families. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients
Deliver interventions to individuals and families focused on problem-solving, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement
Tailor interventions based on client preferences, needs, and the clinical direction of the care team
Offer direct support in crisis intervention, stabilization, treatment planning, and evaluation and assessment.
Assist individuals with learning and utilizing coping strategies, and daily living skills
Complete clinical assessments and required documentation to meet standards
Provide short-term case management, including assistance with income, insurance, entitlements, community resources and services, as well as coordination of medical/psychiatric appointments
Facilitate warm handoffs with other service providers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred
Experience working with adults or families with mental illness/substance abuse
Candidates with lived experience with substance use disorder strongly encouraged to apply
Valid Massachusetts drivers license

The ideal candidate is a parent, guardian, or caregiver of a youth with special needs and/or behavioral health needs, who uses their lived experience navigating child and family service systems to support and educate families currently in need.
Responsibilities:
Provide community-based support and education to parents/caregivers of children with special needs and/or behavioral health needs.
Work with the Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation(ECMHC) staff, EEC program leadership and educators and families in developing measurable Family Partner goals in the Individualized Service Delivery Plan.
Assist parents/caregivers in meeting the needs of the child through educating, supporting, coaching, modeling and guiding.
Teach parents/caregivers how to connect to community resources and communicate with providers advocating for services and resources to meet a child's needs.

Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED with two (2) years of experience working with children and youth or Associates/Bachelor's degree in a human services field with one (1) or more years of experience working with children and youth
Must be a parent, guardian or caregiver of a youth with special needs, and/or behavioral health needs.
Experience in navigating children and families within the education system.
Must have the ability to communicate with other parents in a supportive and non-judgmental manner regarding their needs.

How You'll Be Making a Difference
* In collaboration with the Administrative Team, develop and ensure implementation of a comprehensive health/wellness component to program planning, including environmental, nutritional, exercise and fitness.
* Provide ongoing Quality Assurance by monitoring a MAP site's medication administration system to ensure compliance with DPH, DMH and DCF regulations, licensing requirements and MAP policies.
* Oversee all aspects of the administration of medications, training and supervision of MAP certified staff to administer medications, and the preparation of leave of absence medications. Assure compliance with all regulatory guidelines. May be asked to serve as a MAP Certified Trainer.
* Observes, no less than once every 12 months, all Certified staff employed at the site prepare and administer medication in a manner consistent with all MAP policies, procedures and protocols.

As a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you can either assist in daily routine or episodic daily nursing aide care to adults with Brain Injury on a per diem basis. Your work will be in a clinically intensive program that is tailored to meet the needs of a unique specialized population who have been diagnosed with brain injuries and complex health needs. In your role you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives.
Per Diem C.N.A. duties include administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines, assisting individuals to become more a part of their communities, and helping the program to meet the highest quality standards. You will employ rehabilitation values, principles and techniques, including skills training to help individuals served overcome barriers and to live more independently.

Are you the Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT) Clinician we have been looking for? In this position, you will be convey your passion for helping others as part of a small, dedicated team working with youth. JRI's Community Service Agencies are committed to offering these teams to include a combination of medically necessary intensive family therapy, robust care coordination, and Family Partner engagement for MassHealth youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED). You will focus on improving the youth's mental health concerns, while strengthening the family structure and support. Our staff provide the FIT service in home and community settings and facilitate a consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship with the families we serve.

JRI provides the training so that:
You will provide intensive family therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and assessments.
You will design and deliver focused, strategic, evidence-based interventions and behavioral techniques to build skills, safety planning, strengthen family dynamics, and may prevent the need for the youth's admission to an inpatient hospital, psychiatric residential treatment facility, or other treatment setting.
You will serve as a vital member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team that works together to find the best and most effective methods of guiding and supporting youth and their families.
You will use your skills to develop a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship with the youth and families you work with in order to help improve the youth's behavioral health needs, including improving the family's ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote their healthy functioning within the family.
You will use your passion to provide culturally competent, trauma informed, confidential clinical services to guide care for the youth at the center of your care.
You will provide consultation to collaterals including schools and medical service providers to help the youth you serve navigate their lives with more support.

Requirements:
Minimum Master's degree or above in the mental health field, must be licensed OR working towards your license and License eligible (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT). JRI will support you in gaining your licensure hours and testing.
Proven ability to form therapeutic relationships with people from various backgrounds including those of different racial, ethnic, linguistic, religious and sexual orientation identities.
Must have daily access to reliable, insured vehicle and active Driver's License.
Must be willing to maintain a flexible work schedule and to participate in an on-call schedule.
Knowledge of or ability to learn electronic medical record software and basic computer functions including the Microsoft Suite.
