Mr. O’Brien has contributed significantly to the private security and law enforcement community, in Hawaii. He has been the President of the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation, and the Hawaii Joint Police Association. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for these organizations as well as the Hawaii Visitor Industry Security Association. Mr. O’Brien has been recognized by the security industry and accepted into the Hawaii Joint Police Association Hall of Fame, and has received a previous “Top Cop” award from the Law Enforcement and Security Coalition. He has also received a Governor’s Commendation and Mayor’s Recognition Award for his efforts in protecting critical Infrastructure locations throughout Hawaii. Security Resources, was also recognized by the Pacific Technology Foundations and awarded the Hawaii Technology Industry Award, for their advanced security technology applications. In addition, Security Resources was recognized by the Pacific Law Enforcement and Security Coalition as Hawaii’s Outstanding Law Enforcement and Security Organization
