CDL Driver - Night Transfer Swedesboro, NJ SHIFT: Mon thru Fri 6:30 PM to 3:00AM The Night Transfer Driver position is based out of Swedesboro, NJ. This position transports replenishment stock to our Branch Store Network throughout the Tri-State area (Pa, NJ & De.) The driver must be qualified to operate class 6, 7 & 8 Trucks / Tractors and will require the driver to load / unload his cargo with a forklift. Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients' care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT's/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. Job DescriptionRDH is looking for Class B or Class A CDL drivers to join our expanding tri-axle dump truck fleet. First and foremost, we pride ourselves on building a reputation of safety, and we expect our drivers to operate each truck in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Cell phone use must be hands-free when the vehicle is on the road. Every driver must be drug-free and submit to a pre-employment drug screening as well as random screenings throughout the year. Prior dump truck experience is preferred but not required, but the ideal candidate will have a clean driving record. Also, each new team member will be subject to at least one week of a ride/ drive along regardless of prior experience. The driver upon hire must sign up for the TRUX app and familiarize themselves with becoming proficient at using it daily on his/ her smartphone. Our trucks are 2017 year models or newer with automatic transmissions, and we ask our drivers to keep them as clean as possible. The driver will be responsible for washing and cleaning the truck inside and out at least once a week, and the bed should be shoveled out when needed. The driver must insure they arrive to the jobsite at least 10 minutes before the specified starting time and work until the job foreman cuts them off. Expect to work at least 10-12+ hours/ day and 5-6 days/ week unless our jobs are postponed or canceled due to weather. Starting pay is $21-24/ hr depending on experience, and pay increases are at the discretion of the owner and fleet manager based on the driver's job performance.
