Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation and Repair: Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain precision machines and production tools. Troubleshoot malfunctions and devise effective solutions to minimize downtime and prevent future breakdowns.
Technical Expertise: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to execute safe and efficient repairs. Fabricate parts using various machinery and operate power tools, hand tools, torches, welders, and precision measuring instruments.
Mechanical Expertise: Conduct operations such as fitting and aligning bearings, spindles, and shafts, and calibrate measuring devices and feeding mechanisms.
Installation Leadership: Lead machine tool installation and relocation efforts, ensuring safe and precise setup. Perform erecting, leveling, fitting, and aligning tasks as required.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Resolve basic electrical and PLC issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Supplier Interaction: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to acquire part information, address repair concerns, discuss improvement needs, and provide shipping instructions.

JOB SUMMARY : Inspects, repairs, and services all MTTA vehicular equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Repairs and replaces diesel, gasoline, and/or CNG engine accessories as may be required.
2. Repairs and replaces bus and automotive body accessories (doors, engines, electrical units, glass, windshield wipers, seats, wheelchair lifts, etc.).

JOB SUMMARY: Inspects, repairs, and services all MTTA vehicular equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Repairs and replaces diesel, gasoline, and/or CNG engine accessories as may be required.
2. Repairs and replaces bus and automotive body accessories (doors, engines, electrical units, glass, windshield wipers, seats, wheelchair lifts, etc.).
3. Rebuilds engine parts and other bus parts such as brakes, alternators, differentials, etc.
4. Repairs all MTTA vehicles (gas, diesel, and CNG) including repairs to air conditioners, motors, transmissions, generators, starters, etc.
5. Makes road calls as needed for various issues (i.e., breakdown, farebox, biohazard, etc.).
6. Trouble shoots vehicular problems including electrical systems, engines, etc.
7. Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
8. Fuel buses and other MTTA vehicles.
9. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED required with high school auto mechanics program or graduation from a recognized diesel mechanics school.
