FLIGHT PARAMEDIC INCENTIVES
Starting Range is $76,000-$97,000 annually
Schedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotation
Company paid crew housing while on shift
We're hiring Flight Paramedics to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction. They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed with the assigned area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Responsible for completion and submission of electronic patient care record for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame, and for daily base checks, which includes narcotic count
Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility maintaining thorough patient care documentation
Maintains competency in knowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoing laboratory and clinical experiences
Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual
Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs
Maintains positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the public
Functions as a medical flight member
Attends pre-mission briefings and mission debriefing and completes necessary documentation
Assists in pre-mission liftoff checklist and Pilot assistance when needed, e. radio, navigational, and visual observation activities
Complies with safety standards to assure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipment prior to liftoff
Conducts aircraft safety briefings as needed
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ALS or critical care setting required
Flight experience preferred
Education:
Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status. Will be required to obtain trauma certification within 6 months of hire
Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred, required within 12 months from date of hire.
Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred
NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area
Physical Demands:
Must be willing to shave facial hair (if needed) to fit a N95 mask
Must possess the gross and fine motor skills necessary to sufficiently provide the full range of safe and effective patient care activities
Lift and/or move up to 150 pounds cumulative with assistance
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule

How you'll contribute
A Case Manager who excels in this role:
Works with patients, family members, area hospital staff, physicians and other community agencies to obtain referrals and provide case management for patients including: screening, pre-admission and admission process and care plan management and coordination.
Assists with the development, assessment, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive plan of care for patients meeting our high-risk screening criteria by screening on designated programs, coordinating an interdisciplinary team approach to service, and resource delivery beginning on a admission basis and follows through placement into follow up after care in collaboration with the hospital team.

Performs chart review to identify actual or potential issues with service delivery, patient outcomes and satisfaction, compliance, cost, and reimbursement.
Counsels and interviews patients/family members and conducts an appraisal of social, emotional and economic complications to provide the physician and the health care team with recommendations and information which will assist in development of the plan for the patient's care upon referral.
Provides information to patients/families regarding financial concerns and general information and counsels patients/families surrounding the issues of illness, loss, grief, bereavement, and anger. They also advise, counsel, teach and support patients and/or family members in assuming responsibility/advocacy for personal health care needs, decision making and ongoing planning and service coordination.
Serves as an advocate and liaison between patient/family and physician and monitors patient and family satisfaction. Responds to questions and complaints from patients, family members, and payors regarding care.
Obtains third party payer admission authorization if necessary.
Coordinates follow up care to ensure appropriate services are provided to clients.
Documents and maintains accurate patient records related to patient referrals, admissions, care plan management and discharges.

The main tasks and responsibilities of the transport drivers include but are not limited to delivering gasoline and other petroleum products safely to Rebel Oil Company customer locations including commercial tanks at convenience store and gas station locations owned and operated by Rebel Oil Company clients.
Drivers must hold and maintain a Commercial Driver's License with endorsements for Tanker, Hazmat, General Knowledge and Air Brakes. Drivers must possess the ability to read and write the English language and perform some mathematical calculations to affect delivery manifests.
Drivers load transport trucks at the local Rebel Oil Company Terminal. The loading process includes the grasping of an elevated loading arm that attaches to the truck. This requires downward pressure of about fifteen to twenty pounds in order to attach to the truck.
The position includes the ability to bend to the ground area to locate the tank lids and remove lids and caps. Fittings for the delivery are then placed on the tank fill pipes. Hoses are then connected to the fittings and to the truck to unload product.
The fittings weigh about fifteen pounds each and the hose weighs about fifteen pounds. When deliveries are complete the driver must drain the hose of product. The end of the hose with product weighs about forty pounds which are elevated above ground level to drain. The hose when drained of the product returns to the original weight of fifteen pounds. The driver must then stow the hose back to the truck.
Occasionally drivers must handle product in buckets which weigh about five pounds empty and a maximum of forty pounds full. This requires lifting the buckets to about waist level.
On rare occasions the driver will be required to climb the ladder of the truck tanks to an elevation of about ten feet
Requirements
At all times drive defensively and follow all applicable laws and regulations to maintain ROC's reputation as one of the safest tank carriers.
Drives company trucks to load and deliver fuel and commodities to ROC's Operations and customers. ROC operates 24/7/365.
Have knowledge of and comply with all applicable federal, state, local and company rules and regulations that are in accordance with the accepted principles of the safe operation of a hazardous cargo tank motor vehicle.
Have knowledge and comply with the proper methods of loading and unloading for the various cargos to be transported.
Maintain contact with logistics as needed and required.
Complete driver electronic logs and all necessary documentation as required by ROC.
Follow all ROC guidelines regarding professional conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees, vendors, and the motoring public.
DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Each driver must have a Commercial Driver's License and other appropriate endorsements (HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples) and state requirements as required by law.
Each driver must qualify physically, and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate, under the requirements of 49 CFR, Section 391 43-49 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
At a minimum of 2 years of verifiable hazmat driving experience may be required.
Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Job Description
The Great Basin College Learning Commons is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to serve as a Part-Time Proctor. This position plays a key role in supporting academic integrity by overseeing testing sessions for students across the GBC service area. In addition to in-person exam proctoring, the candidate must be willing to proctor on-site at the Elko campus using Zoom.
This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and a strong comfort level with technology and troubleshooting on multiple software platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to a secure, supportive testing environment for students and uphold institutional testing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor a variety of exams, including placement tests, makeup exams, third-party certifications, and other institutional assessments.
Proctor exams in person at the Elko campus and virtually via Zoom for students across GBC's statewide service area.
Ensure the integrity of the testing environment by following established guidelines and procedures.
Verify student identities, explain exam rules, and ensure proper test accommodations are provided.
Set up and troubleshoot technical issues related to Zoom, webcams, screen sharing, and testing platforms and offer solutions for issues and provide direction to other sources if problems arise.
Maintain accurate records and incident reports related to test administration.
Participate in training and periodic updates regarding testing procedures, technology, and compliance requirements.
Assist with other Learning Commons duties as assigned, such as scheduling exams and answering student inquiries.
Required Qualifications::
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven reliability and attention to detail.
Ability to learn and follow testing protocols precisely.
Technological proficiency, especially with Zoom, screen sharing, email, and web-based platforms.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected technical or student-related challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an academic, testing, or customer service environment.
Experience using Zoom in a professional or academic setting.
Experience using Canvas Learning Management System.
Knowledge of FERPA and academic integrity policies within higher education parameters.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours; must be available to work on-site and occasionally outside traditional business hours.
May involve prolonged periods of sitting, monitoring exams, and working at a computer.
Training for Zoom and other testing platforms to proctor exams will be provided.
Salary:
$13.00 per hour
This is a part-time position that is not eligible for benefits.
Hours:
Up to 19 hours per week with a maximum of 79.5 hours per month.

Job Description
Great Basin College (GBC) is recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Worker 3 for the Buildings and Grounds Department. This position will perform a wide variety of landscape and gardening duties. Duties include, but are not limited to: planting, pruning; mowing, trimming, watering, and fertilizing; applying herbicide; weeding; operating hand power tools and light mechanized equipment such as power mowers, and forklifts; maintaining grounds areas clean and free of trash, fallen leaves, snow and ice; operating light, medium and heavy equipment such as pickup trucks, tractors, sanders, plows and loaders; and other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications
* This position requires one (1) year of experience performing grounds maintenance work using a variety of tools, equipment, and techniques; OR
* Six (6) months of experience as a Grounds Maintenance Worker II in Nevada State service; OR
* An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances.
A valid Class "C" driver's license or higher operator's license is required at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
Position requires work outdoors, heavy lifting and working in inclement weather including snow removal.
Schedule
The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm; this is subject to change based on organizational needs.
This position is designated as Essential Personnel. In the event of a campus emergency, special event, closure to maintain campus safety or building operations, this position may be required to work outside of regularly scheduled hours.
