What you'll do
Docusign is looking for a highly motivated Senior Front End SoftwareEngineer to join our Product-Led Growth team under the product development organization. The Senior Front End SoftwareEngineer will execute on all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the e-commerce and product-led growth applications. You will enjoy fast-paced entrepreneurial environments where you can solve difficult problems using current technologies and tools. You collaborate well with other team members when brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions. You will also help the team succeed by thinking about ways to improve processes, suggesting ways to make the team more effective, and mentoring and modeling engineering best practices.

Responsibility
Create high quality, user focused experiences with React or Node
Help build and design the new Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructure
Be actively involved with building and maintaining our new component library
Mentor junior plus level engineers
Develop and maintain automated tests for your code
Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and version control systems (GIT)
Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments
Diagnose and resolve production impacting issues and maintain the code as needed

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $157,500.00 - $254,350.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

As an intern on the Directory Platform team, you will partner closely with the Authentication and UX teams to advance Docusign's commitments to secure, frictionless identity experiences. The project scope will center on strengthening our passkey-based signup and account creation flows. In this role, you will be a member of the Authentication Platform team responsible for powering Docusign's core authentication experiences, including login, signup, passkey, SSO, and two-step verification. Our mission is to deliver secure, seamless, and modern authentication experiences for millions of users across Docusign's ecosystem.
You will work closely with product, design, and backend platform engineers to build high-quality web applications and integrations that improve reliability, performance, and user experience. You will be instrumental in building and modernizing the authentication frontend stack using technologies such as React and Webpack, and in developing backend services and APIs that enable frictionless, phishing-resistant login flows.

What you'll do
In this role, you will be a member of the Account Provisioning and Usage platform development team. We are responsible for ensuring that customers receive the features and services that they've purchased across a growing suite of Docusign products and features. You will work closely with product and other engineers to deliver and develop backend platform service features in a scalable and secure manner. You will use your experience working with production web applications at scale to design, implement and maintain RESTful and GRPC APIs, microservices and integrations with external services.

Collaborate through code reviews, pair programming and online remote communication to help ensure we ship scalable, secure and highly available code
Mentor team members who are learning skills which you have mastered

This position is in Docusign's Authorization team, which is responsible for high-volume, low-latency centralized authorization decisions.
