Instruct offices and patients as to the proper blood work, preparations, direction and instructions for various procedures. Ensures all online requests are handled within 24 hours of the time they appear. Schedule conference room requests. Complete required training. Adhere to patient privacy policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality. Adhere to the Making Ellis Exceptional (MEE) Behaviors & Standards, and initiate, promote, and support change initiatives. The Dean co-chairs the Belanger School of Nursing Organization Committee of the school and serves as the liaison to Ellis Medicine leadership. The Dean monitors the professional field and program standards to strengthen the program and implements workgroups to determine scale and needs to align with the mission, vision and values of Ellis Medicine and Belanger School of Nursing. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): Licensure: Holds an unencumbered professional Registered Nursing license in New York State Education: Holds a minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Nursing Education. The preferred academic credential is an earned doctorate in nursing or related field (PhD, EdD, DNP, DNS). Candidates who are in progress earning a Doctorate will need to complete the degree within 3 years. Experience: Possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing education in a nursing program that leads to RN licensure. Possesses two (2) years of supervision and or administration experience in lower division collegiate nursing programs. Certification: Not required, candidates with a CNE certification are preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The position is located indoors and has community responsibilities in which the incumbent is required to attend.
