What makes this role interesting, is that you have the opportunity to be in different facilities kind of working on different projects and different challenges each day. There is some travel required, however we expected to be in the local area with minimal nights away during the week)
Responsible for day to day field service. Including but not limited to: service, installations and/or preventive maintenance relative to the local market.
Essential Duties include:
Perform field service, installations or PMs as required.
Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
Communicate effectively with a variety of different people
Represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically at all times, with all actions in line with business expectations.
Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all customer records and technical documentation.
Other related duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
Ideally someone with experience installing, maintaining and/or repairing, of CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers. With this experience we're looking for developed repair skills, focused on the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical aspects of your craft.

What You'll Do:
Carry out general appliance repair skills such as troubleshooting various appliances- including circuit boards, switches, heating elements, pumps, compressors, motors, etc.
Work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to ensure correct project work while abiding by all codes.
Accurately diagnose the cause of appliance repair issues, recommend options for repair, price repairs under company policy, complete repairs after authorization are received, collect and timely deliver payment from customer to office, complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, CSRs, and customers to ensure complete alignment at all times during the service repair or replacement process.
Work with and train any helpers who may be assigned to work with you.
Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required, and maintain necessary licenses or certifications and complete required continuing education.
Exhibit professional conduct at all times, whether at the job site or driving company vehicles.
Be available to serve periodic on-call rotation assignments (per schedule approved by the service manager) necessary to ensure 24/7/365 coverage.

What You'll Do:

Position Summary
Responsible for repairing faults in finished products by following detailed instructions based on prior diagnostics and analysis completed by the test technician. This role ensures all products meet quality and performance standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preliminary analysis of products to identify defects, faults, or performance issues.
Diagnose and repair faults in finished products in accordance with established procedures.
Document all repairs performed, including root causes, corrective actions, and parts used.
Verify product functionality after repairs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Communicate recurring issues or complex faults to the test technician or supervisor for further evaluation.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
Meet daily productivity and quality standards consistently.
Perform precise and thorough pre-analysis to support accurate fault identification.
Follow all repair procedures and work instructions with attention to detail.
Maintain organized work processes and uphold quality control expectations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or technical certifications are a plus (experience may substitute education).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mechatronics; 2 years preferred.
Knowledge of: NOM-022-STPS-2008 / ANSI-ESD S20.20:2014 (Basic), RBA:2021 / SA8000:2014, Security Awareness, Use of Social Networks, Cultural Diversity Awareness, Code of Conduct, and Integrated Management Systems.
Strong willingness to learn and continuously develop technical skills.
Basic office and computer skills for accurate reporting and documentation.
Highly committed, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
