TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. This role is vital in providing care for expectant mothers throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases. Job Responsibilities Monitor mothers and babies during labor to assess vital signs, contractions, and fetal well-being. Assist obstetricians and midwives during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections. Administer medications and monitor patient response, including epidurals and oxytocin. Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families during childbirth. Document patient progress and medical interventions accurately and timely. Educate new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery. Ensure safety and adherence to infection control, hospital protocols, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Current and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state. Minimum of 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required. BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred. Proficient in monitoring labor progression and managing high-risk pregnancies. Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills. Compassionate approach and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. Qualifications Requirements: * Diploma from an RN program. * Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
