Duties and Responsibilities

Typical assignments include:

Qualifications

This is a career ladder position with promotion potential up to GS-12. You will be eligible for promotion to the next higher grade after 52 weeks at each level, subject to agency discretion.
CBPOs receive comprehensive federal benefits including health, dental, vision, sick and annual leave, and retirement plans including a Thrift Savings Plan (similar to a Roth 401(k)).

Nursing Assistant/NAR duties:
* Assists adult residents/patients, based on individual care plan with personal cares such as; bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, showers and responds to call lights
* May turn, lift or transfer residents with or without other persons/mechanical assistance
* Observes residents and reports status to nursing (rn/lpn) staff in a clear and concise manner
* Chart or document all cares in electronic medical record system
* Receive and give report to appropriate staff during various times in work shift
Required:
* Pass Ebenezer Nursing Assistant Course by 2/13/26. Then within 4 months of hire date, must pass State of MN Nursing Assistant/Nurse Aide exams thus putting you on the MN Nursing Assistant registry.

Preferred:
* Ability to work with a diverse and geriatric/older population
