About the Role The Developer Advocate will own the end‑to‑end activation and completion funnel for our partner and customer builders. The core mission of this role is to significantly shorten the time to first value for developers and empower them to build independently on our platform. You will be responsible for creating a cohesive developer journey by integrating documentation, in‑product guidance, lifecycle communications, and community programs. What You'll Do Documentation & Enablement: Design and build our documentation information architecture, creating a high‑quality, comprehensive set of resources for our developers/builders. Lifecycle Marketing: Launch and manage behavior‑based lifecycle communications (e.g., welcome series, activation nudges, re‑engagement campaigns) to guide developers through the funnel. Community Building: Launch and grow a vibrant developer/builder community, showcase successful projects, and generate valuable case studies. Product‑Assisted Enablement: Work with Product and Engineering to improve the first‑time user experience with in‑product checklists, contextual docs, and other guidance. Metrics & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key success metrics to measure the effectiveness of developer enablement and marketing programs. Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, developer relations, developer advocacy, technical marketing, or a similar role. Provide leadership to a team of designers/draftsmen to complete engineering drawing packages and drive design solutions from concept through implementation. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. 5-10 years' experience with Catia V5 for aerospace/aircraft structural modifications and/or new design. Ability to quickly understand and apply new concepts in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Broad experience with typical aircraft materials (MMPDS), hardware (MS, NAS, AN bolts, rivets, screws, nuts, bushings), aluminum and steel sheet metal, fiberglass, honeycomb panels, machined parts, and welding. Strong understanding of airframe structures, systems, manufacturing, and assembly procedures. Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite for report writing and analysis preparation. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
