Job Description
As an EmailMarketingSpecialist at Skillz, you will own the strategy and execution of email campaigns that drive player engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You'll design personalized lifecycle journeys, optimize performance through data-driven testing, and collaborate across product, analytics, and design to deliver seamless, high-impact player communications.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute lifecycle campaigns, including onboarding, engagement, reactivation, and VIP flows.
Segment audiences and deliver personalized, automated email journeys at scale.
Partner with analytics to track revenue attribution and optimize performance.

Experience
5+ years in emailmarketing, with high-volume B2C campaign experience (1-2M+ emails/month).

Hands-on experience with ESP/CRM platforms (CleverTap, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Provide art and copy direction for email communication, leverage existing email templates, create new designs as needed, manage library of templates.
Oversee creation, scheduling, and production of regular emailmarketing campaigns by working cross departmentally, making revisions, and gaining approvals as appropriate.
Proof all communication completely for messaging and functionality and act as the final check point on database communication across a variety of channels.

Responsibilities:
Execute digital marketing campaigns across owned channels (email, SMS, app, push)
Build and QA campaigns with precise targeting, tracking, and personalization
Develop and test offers to meet business goals (traffic, sales, loyalty, catering)
Manage A/B testing and analyze results to improve future campaigns
Report on performance metrics including conversions, ROI, and revenue
Support DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub menu merchandising
Monitor and update SEO basics (metadata, linking, page content, local listings)
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and vendor teams to ensure smooth execution
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years in digital marketing or CRM campaign management
