Job Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join the Low Carbon Crude Oil Sales Group.
The Low Carbon Crude Oil Sales Group is responsible for providing oil market analysis, market intelligence and data analytics, strategic studies and market research, as well as project management and coordination within the crude oil sales and marketing department.
Your primary role is to oversee and mange various marketing activities, drive marketing research initiatives, and optimize performance to support the company's overall marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Provide expertise in a specialized area with crude oil placement strategy and market analysis.
Participate in analysis and strategy development that addresses short- and -long term needs, highly complex issues and challenges.
Mentor, train, and develop others to provide awareness of the complex concepts within crude oil markets.
Undertake complex studies within your developed area of expertise in crude oil placement strategy and market analysis that can impact the company's present and future operations.
Monitor the development of existing and emerging market trends to forecast their viability and evolution over time. Frequently direct and/or coordinate work task forces on special studies and consult directly with Executive Management on issues as they arise.
Prepare and present plans, analyses, interpretations, conclusions and recommendations to Management and others on a broad range of petroleum market issues.
Provide expert advice and guidance on complex planning and analysis problems to senior planning and analytical personnel and to Executive Management.
Collaborate with partners and key internal and external stakeholders on low carbon value proposition, presentation of analytical results as well as support in establishing an organization focused on low carbon product.
Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the areas of commercializing low carbon crude oil and low carbon products such as LCAF, SAF, Naphtha and others with focus on offsetting and carbon markets mechanisms.
Minimum Requirements
As the successful candidate you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree in economics, energy, or MBA is preferred.
You will have over 12 years of experience in oil and gas sustainability, Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) and carbon market industry.
You will have knowledge of carbon markets and environmental regulations related to GHG Emissions with understanding of the compliance carbon markets, voluntary carbon markets, baseline and crediting mechanisms, carbon-related trade measures and carbon pricing, as well as assessing the implications of global climate policy and carbon market trends at regional and international levels.
You will have extensive knowledge of global crude oil market balances and flows; pricing dynamics and structures; and methodologies of reporting agencies and exchange contracts.
Familiarity with refinery and petrochemicals, linear programming, and investment financial modeling is preferred.
You should have understanding of refining and refining economics.

The Department of Psychiatry at CU Anschutz is seeking a strategic Communications & Public Relations professional to join the Advancement, Communications and Events (ACE) Departmental Core to advance our mission of brain health for all, for life. In this role, under the direction of the Communication Manager, you will develop and execute messaging across internal and external audiences, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and institutional branding. You will manage communications initiatives in support of fundraising, faculty recruitment, research dissemination, and public engagement - developing narratives, producing content, and amplifying impact through marketing, supporting media relations, and creating content for digital channels.You will be responsible for working with various clinical care and education teams across the department to create and execute marketing and advertising campaigns for service lines and products. You will also work on creating and refining content (writing, editing, proofreading), graphic designing needed elements and work to maximize clarity, accessibility, and reach across all channels. You will supervise social media strategy and execution work with the CU Anschutz central team on public relations and press outreach, as well as branding efforts. They will recommend and implement best fit marketing strategy to increase customer enrollment in low-income customer assistance programs, prepare and execute monthly energy efficiency promotional content for social media and email marketing to meet energy efficiency rebate program goals, and deploy all ad hoc customer success campaigns in response to the department's needs. Responsible for compiling reports and analytics regarding effectiveness of efforts. This position will provide administrative and analytical support of key programs and metrics to achieve Sales/Marketing goals and Regulatory obligations.
Principal Accountabilities:
WordPress Data Administration: Develop and maintain content associated with ***********, supporting all departments across the organization. Ensure the prevailing version of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines are followed. Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve any site defects and make improvements.
Marketing Cloud Administration: Manage marketing automation, email marketing and SMS/text campaigns in support of Growth Marketing, Sales/New Customer Acquisition, Customer Success, Energy Efficiency/Conservation and Outreach/Assistance Programs departments including independent content creation, copywriting, database management and measurement of campaigns.
Marketing Program Coordination: Provide support for development of marketing plans. Assist with development and implementation of targeted marketing campaigns, including coordinating creative development, coordinate production with third party production vendors, communication with sales teams, campaign tracking and reporting. Create and manage data and lists for marketing programs. Create reports, graphs, tracking and analysis of other marketing programs as well as data on customers, savings calculator input factors, and other key metrics.
Website Enhancement Coordination: Actively participate in the coordination, validation and testing for any assigned digital strategy initiatives to ensure accuracy of funcitionality and optimization of experience, as needed. Initiatives may include Live Chat, Outage Map, Online Account Center, etc.
Reporting and Analysis: Measure and analyze online activity each month or for specific campaigns, including website visits, online forms, traffic sources, etc. Review and refine existing software and tools and processes for improvement. Process and pull reports for all digital campaign expenses.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience administering WordPress website content
Experience with Adobe and HTML
Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing
Familiarity with Organic and Paid Social Media tactics

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant business experience. Concentration in Marketing preferred.
