The Opportunity The Flight Department at our Daytona Beach Campus is currently accepting applications for a Flight Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for several support functions associated with flight course activities, including dispatching, data collection, flight following, customer service, and controlling the flow of fleet aircraft for maintenance both scheduled and unscheduled, as well as line service and ramp security. The Opportunity The Aerospace Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) - Daytona Beach invites applications for a non-tenure-track (NTT) faculty position in the area of Space Systems. It is anticipated that this teaching faculty position will be filled at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, although more experienced candidates may be considered. Candidates must hold a terminal degree in engineering, with preference given to those candidates who hold a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering. For this position, however, the Ph.D. degree could be replaced by an M.S. and substantial industry experience. Preference will be given to a candidate who will lead a student-based, small satellite (e.g., CubeSat) development program with a regular cadence. Therefore, the program will encompass the full life cycle of small satellite development to include conceptual and hardware design, fabrication and testing, spacecraft deployment and operations, and ultimately, decommissioning.
